WEEI in Boston is reporting a 3yr 58Million extension.

Sorry, but no link yet.

No word on Moss, or hold out Logan mankins

He would prolly play week 1 if he came in from the cold. reserve did not report list I believe

Good. Now it's time to pay Moss. There were some grumblings coming out over the weekend that he wasn't happy that the Pats hadn't extended him.

he's said on more than one occassion several weeks ago that he understands this MAY be his last year with the Pats. i would be surprised if his relationship with the organization turns sour even if he ends up leaving. pretty sure he's a brady and bb fanboy.

but a 2 year extension would be great imo. would rather see mankins signed asap however...

I don't like this at all. I have the Brady/Moss combo this year and I really wanted both of them going out with something to prove.

This is a contract year for Moss. He will go out on a high note, whether he resigns with the pats or is auditioning for the final contract of his career for another team.

I don't see the Pats investing big money for a 34 year old WR. Even if said WR has probably another 3 or 4 good years left and is an instant HOFer once he's eligible. They just don't pay big money for old players. They will pay veteran minimum for old players but not big money. Moss will explode this year and get paid some where else.
