Tom Brady - Knee Injury (1 Viewer)

According to Mike Reiss' twitter timeline, Brady went down with the knee injury, walked to sidelines, missed a play, came back and then he left the field again after consulting with the trainer and Belichik.

I'm guessing a catastrophic bicep injury. I mean, when this stuff happens, the muscles cry in agony as they separate from the bone. Trade him to some sucker in your league while you can.

According to USAToday:

Brady was not hit while throwing a fade to rookie Aaron Dobson that fell incomplete, but ended up on the ground holding his leg. He walked off gingerly but without assistance.

He was met by a member of the team's athletic training staff and walked to the adjacent indoor practice facility. He had not returned to the field after about 30 minutes.

Brady was hit by Solder, DaQuan Bowers rushed Solder and pushed him back into Brady's knee.

Same knee he injured in 2011.

So did he have his brace on. I know he's pretty fanatical about wearing it (maybe not in practice).

Amazingly Matt Cassel led the Brady-less Pats to a 10-6 record. What would Mallett/Tebow do? With their lack of offensive talent, I'm guessing 8-8.

I grabbed UNDER 11 1/2 wins after Hernandez self destructed.

Vegas casinos took the numbers down today after the Brady injury.

Tom Brady - QB - Patriots
NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports Tom Brady's (knee) teammates were "real down" and "very scared" after he left Wednesday's practice.
It's unclear if they were down/scared simply because Brady left, or if the injury actually appeared to be serious. It's worth remembering that Brady stayed in for a few plays after getting rolled up by LT Nate Solder, but that's not a foolproof sign he's avoided major injury. Patriots president Jonathan Kraft said he doesn't believe the injury is serious. Hold your breath, and stay tuned.

It sounds like he went back in to complete the drill and then jogged off the field without any assistance. Not sure that proves or disproves anything, but it sounds like it could have been a lot worse.

I really didn't think that another topic could spin wild and out of control after all that jamaal Charles stuff but.....everyone back on the merry-go-round! Here we go again!

i wonder if this changes coach B's approach to joint practices? i was hearing the pats were setting a new trend with this approach to TC under the cba.
