Here is the Brady we have been waiting on! I had to tell someone, because my wife sure does not care! So jump on the Brady Bandwagon!!!! Let's rejoice together that he is finally back!

4- TDs.

372 yards pass.

Enough said.

I was down 25 points before Monday Night, after Monday Night, the WINNER! My only hope is that the Pats were doing the same thing the Brons were, "pretending" they didn't have an offensive until BAM they turned it on!!!!!!!!!

He's back... He's back... He's back.. He BACK!!! Right?!!!!!!!!

Please tell you think so too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

peace...

I'll admit i got excited, but i think we need to temper our enthusiasm...

It was def playcalling and gameplan that made him so effective, next wk he'll throw 15 times and the pats will run 40 times. I hope its the start of something, like the Brady of last yr, but i cant get too excited yet

Been on the Brady Bandwagon ever since I traded Glenn for him in week 4.

Save it haters...I know...nobody cares

Yup, here come the haters...
Believe me, I loved Brady's performance last night, but I digress...One day you'll realize that nobody here cares IF you won or worse, HOW you won. Save it. While we're at it, they also couldn't care less about your team in your sig.To top it off, you act like you're unaware that last night was the result of a gameplan and a stout run D. You will fall back to earth shortly when you see how they deal with Manning next week -- by keeping him off the field by slamming the run into that crappy run D.Horrible thread topic, of no help to anybody...just some cheerleading.Good day.

Au Contrair Mon Freir...this thread was helpful to you because it gave you a chance to let out some of the hot air you've been stockpiling.

Okay, so Magnus is 12, we now know that.HAPPY HALLOWEEN BUDDY!!!!!!! :excited:

Was down 28 pts and he came through for me. I love seeing the Pats in 4-5 WR sets when they were up by 17. I knew it was going to be a good night for Brady owners.

The Pats wanted him to have a monster game to go into next week on a high note...Of course he wont pass nearly as much but hes definately confidant and on the same page with his WRs now.

If people can vent or be ANGRY (hint, hint), why can't I cheer?

I am so sorry I did not mean to offend the unhappy...

peace...

PS- Oh, and cheer up dude. Chill...

How did it work out for you last night?

He's no Peyton Manning...
True, Brady is not ringless. ;)
If Manning was fortunate enough to play for those Patriot teams he wouldn't be ringless either. I don't believe the Pats defense ever gave up 200 yds rushing to Eddie George and Lamar Smith, nor have their kicker blown two playoff games on last second kicks.
Could you imagine Brady with Harrison and Wayne?Goes both ways brother.

Get him some receivers who can hold onto the ball when they touch it. Manning only has to get the ball in the vicinity of Harrison, or so it seems, and he's got a completed pass. Loss of Deion Branch is becoming more noticeable now.

The Colts averaged about 13 points a game in the 6 playoff losses under Manning. How is that the fault of the defense? And as was just said, how come no one ever brings up the fact that Brady does not have Harrison. Can you imagine if Brady had the same offensive co-ordinator his entire NFL career, alwasy has Harrison and for the past few years had Harrison and Wayne to throw to while playing the majority of his games in a weather controlled environment. Now can imagine if the Colts traded Wayne away during the off-season and than traded away Harrison after week one and Manning had to play the majority of his games outside on the East Coast. I somehow doubt he'd be piling up stats under this scenario.

I disagree. The way Manning puts the ball on the money, he could have the same success with receivers not named Harrison and Wayne IMO. He looked pretty damn good last night, and I've also seen him look great in a snow storm as well. Remember Denver few years ago?

:goodposting: Manning is the most accurate passer in the NFL today. Having Harrison and Wayne makes him great but I think he would good with just about any teams WRs. Well except maybe the Titans.

I started Brady....almost started Plummer instead...Still got the "W" thanks to LT.

Brady will be fine...Hes got the Jets and Packers the next 2 weeks.

Sure, Harrison and Wayne don't make Manning better and being in the same offense your entire career throwing to the same WR does not help you with your accuracy. Good for Manning the Colts front office does not agree and made signing those two a top priority.

Yes, but what about the vaunted "business model"? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Brady has lost 2 in a row to Manning AT HOME. The fact that he knew he had to score a lot of points to beat the Colts made him force the ball and he ended up with 3 picks. Can we say Brady choked? Everyone said Manning choked when the shoe was on the other foot. Manning now has the better team and the stats for both QB's are reversed. If all you can say is Brady has rings, that team isn't the one in NE today.

Brady may have choked last night, but the true test will come when the season is on the line (i.e. playoffs). If Manning doesnt make it to a super bowl this year, he may never get there. He finally has the Pats figured out, and he already shredded Denver this season once. Oh, and Brady had FOUR picks.
If all you can say is Brady has rings, that team isn't the one in NE today.
Of course it isnt the same team, but they still had a dynasty in a time when dynastys arent supposed to happen. Thats quite an accomplishment, even if its coming to an end.

I question Brady's effectiveness as a "fantasy QB", he's not been very accurate and i'm still confused with what NE offensive identity is..seems in previous yrs they were a passing team, now more of a running team, which makes brady's value against easy teams useless. Any thoughts how he might perform the rest of the year?

They passed all over the Vikings last week since that is the Vikings D's weakness. The Colts run D is poor, so they ran it a lot last night against them.

We had them right where we wanted them last night. Run it then not punch it in!Brady longs to be a gunslinger like Peyton. Peyton longs to wear 3 rings like Brady. I think for the balance of the year, these two will swap spots.Brady will have to pass more for the Pats to win. Peyton *might* get himself a ring.

It's a brady thread, but we're seeing the Manning love here. He can get it done in any weather. He can get it done on any team, with any receivers. So, the question remains, WHY HASN'T HE? They've had the offense year after year, after year. The defense has held down the other team, year after year, after year. Yet, it has been Peyton who has been the one who has been the one costing his team the games. Point to last night. Brady had four picks. He didn't play great and cost his team the games. I can point for three rings in 5 years where the Colts had better picks. THEY SHOULD BE BETTER BY NOW. THEY SYSTEM IS DESIGNED FOR THEM TO BE!!!!! The system is designed for the same team not to win. The Patrios defied the odds in winning two, never mind 3. You don't see anybody else doing it in the cap era do you?

When the money's on the table, I would still take Brady. Say what you want about Brady. Give him that offense, and he's even better than he's been, no question. Manning has had the same system, rarely even gets pressured, never mind hit. He got sacked 3 times last night. Before that, I think it was 6 sacks in the prior 7 games to this point. One of the sacks last night, he just laid down to avoid the hit. That's smart. The Pats line is good, yes, But, their model is build on defense. Yes, it's helped to win championships, but that's not why Brady has led the drives to put Vinatieri in position to make the clutch kicks. Or, why Brady has not had the 3 TO games in the big games, lLIKE MANNING HAS. How many #1 picks does Brady throw to? He has Graham and Watson now, but before them, there were none. All Manning throws to are #1 picks. Manning has had Tom Moore his whole career. Brady's OC moved on and had to learn a new system. These little caveats lead to the eye popping number differences. But, when the rubber meets the road, and when you measuret he heart of a QB, Manning chokes, and Brady doesn't, and that's int he playoffs. YEar after year, Manning has had the better regular season stats. Year after year, the Pats have gone deeper into the playoffs, with 3 rings to show. Manning hasn't even given his team a chance to win the ring, because his choking has occured before the Superbowl. Yes, I call it choking. If it was one bad game, I'd call it an anomaly. It's not. It's every year. Year after year. The worst game of the year comes in the playoffs, and it's not just an off game, it's an absolutely horrendous game, taking his teams opportunity for success with it.

That's what makes Brady the Better QB.

I only gamble at the poker table, where I have at least indirect influence on the outcome, because of things like lastnight, and the Bears game yesterday, and the Raiders beating the Steelers. I love football, because I love the game of football. for the sport. I'm just so tired of the Manning is better than Brady crap. And Manning has played on a bad team. manning has never had any weapons, blah, blah blah. Am I happy about the outcome last night? No. Am I happy about the way it went down at the end, with two Faulk drops ending the last two drives? No way. But, it is what it is. I honestly thought we'd see 40 running plays last night. I didn't think they could stop the run, and they couldn't . We just went away from it too much. Brady heaved 2 INT's into triple coverage, those were on him. One onthe receiver, and one fluke on a tipped ball at the line, which is also on Brady, because he has to get the ball out. Better mental perperation. WE;ll take the rematch in Indi, if Mannings alter-ego doesn't blow it before then in the playoffs.
