Tedeschi-Trucks Band - You Don't Know How It Feels
Susan making it sound like it's been in the bands set for years - very nice.

All of my likes!I made a playlist for when I tailgated a few weeks ago at an NC State game, and today I went back on to spotify to add some more songs to that one, and I noticed that my first song on the original playlist from the tailgate was Louisiana Rain Live. I knew it was on there, but i didn't realize I put if first. Makes me happy that I wanted to kick it off with something I loved, and it happened to be by Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers.
Thank you. I also found The Killers on there from the last week or so doing "The Waiting." Also excellent. My favorite Tom Petty song.Yeah, we're gonna keep this thread near the top for a bit. I've been listening to a ton of Petty since he passed...it was hard at first but now I'm really enjoying his entire catalog.
Here's a surprisingly good tribute by Matchbox 20, and a great crowd.
Matchbox Twenty I Won't Back Down
And I don't know who this is, but he nails a heartfelt version of The Waiting.

That's from the Gainesville show that was in the Running Down A Dream documentary. It's a great show.A Tom Petty song has been my earworm over the last week and it's all I played over the weekend. Sought a live version of You Wreck Me and am so glad I did. Sorry if this version was previously posted. Hadn't seen it before. What a kickassss version of a kickasssss song.
Beat ya to it by a few minutes 4 posts up
Agree. I had to spread it out over 5 sessions, but it kept my attention all the way through. Learned a ton of things I didn’t know about the band and have been playing TP’s greatest hits all week...I just finished my third bourbon and the Tom Petty Documentary on Netflix. It is almost 4 hours long, but I loved every minute. I’m too tired and drunk to see who already mentioned it in this thread, but damn, it’s really good.
That is the most unnecessary, egregious, and downright offensive use of an apostrophe that I've ever seen.Stevie Nick's singing live with Tom Petty two songs Stop Dragging and Need to Know.
Ban worthy, IMHO.That is the most unnecessary, egregious, and downright offensive use of an apostrophe that I've ever seen.
Two of my top 5 favorite bands/artists. Thanks for posting.Foo Fighters play Breakdown in Cincinnati on Toms Birthday

Fentanyl is being used as a substitute for heroin and prescription opioids and is killing people. If you find yourself addicted, seek help and be prepared to accept what that help means. It doesn't sound too good, the amount of this stuff going around in the unregulated market.
Hard to read in all caps.
True. I also wonder if he was uncomfortable playing in a sitting position.Vanity can be a frightening thing.
Based on just info at hand I’m more apt to pin the death on medical mismanagement than saying that Petty is another victim of the opioid crisis.
Yeah that info came out when he died...I saw him in May, he wasnt too spry, but I figured it was because he was in his 60s and had gained some weight. Not sure when he fractured his hip, but he was a lot less active than I expected.Tom Servo said:Coroner releases cause of Petty’s death.
He played his last tour with a hairline fracture in his hip.![]()
