I'd like to know this as well.Webb is keeping his return duties?
Think he's worth a gamble this week at GB?Looking like Webb will be a stud.
Wouldn't even call it a gamble, play him.Think he's worth a gamble this week at GB?Looking like Webb will be a stud.
Is it guaranteed that he will play though? I read somewhere that he was dinged up.Wouldn't even call it a gamble, play him.Think he's worth a gamble this week at GB?Looking like Webb will be a stud.
Nice outing for Webb. 150 yards on 6 returns, and he came within a whisker of breaking one for a TD. 4 tackles, one assist. Is Lardarius Webb playing tonight?
Hey guys, this is my first post on the forum. I noticed that Josh Wilson was given a crack at a KR late in the game. Do you think he may be taking this role back? It's worth taking a chance I'm thinking so I'm playing him over Daniel Manning whose stock has gone way down since losing his FS position to Payne. What's the deal with the Jaguars' Brian Witherspoon?
Good question. Any homers with any insight? Could be a huge boost to a playoff run.I noticed that Josh Wilson was given a crack at a KR late in the game. Do you think he may be taking this role back?

does anybody know if he practiced this week? What's the deal with the Jaguars' Brian Witherspoon?
Jaguars waived CB/KR Brian Witherspoon. What's the deal with the Jaguars' Brian Witherspoon?
What about Macho Harris?apparently, jeff mclane has twittered that demps is philly's kr.
So who is returning kicks for Philly? Demps or Harris, or ???I don't know if he tweeted anything about macho harris.
Harris yesterday, but long-term is tough to say. They have thrown Maclin, Harris, Demps, & Hobbs back there. Obviously Maclin is the talent, but he is a starting WR when he heals up. I doubt you'll see him there unless its a desperate game situation. I don't know what the stats say, but I prefer Demps. Harris has been brutal and over-hyped. Hobbs is okay, but they rotate so many defenders and KRs that none are worth anything fantasy-wise.So who is returning kicks for Philly? Demps or Harris, or ???I don't know if he tweeted anything about macho harris.
I'll never get over Macho Harris.I don't know if he tweeted anything about macho harris.
I thought the same thing about Alphonso Smith last season, especially after giving up a #1 to get him.At least he's getting nickel snaps now.I think Perrish Cox is going to hold some value this year. I've been looking to see if he can win the job in Denver, since he was so good at Ok State, but not sure
SAN ANTONIO - The Cowboys drafted a rookie that has the potential to make an immediate impact and become electrifying player in the kick return game.
That rookie isn't receiver Dez Bryant.
It's safety Akwasi Owusu-Ansah, who practiced for the first time this offseason after rehabbing from shoulder surgery and a slight hamstring pull. He has spent all offseason doing mental reps on and off the field, and Wade Phillips said Owusu-Ansah didn't make any mental mistakes during practice on Wednesday. Owusu-Ansah's mental preparation didn't go unnoticed by the other coaches either.
"He didn't show any signs of being injured and he really understands the defense," secondary coach Dave Campo said. "He's been here for a long time, and he's been paying attention."
The team started practice with special teams work, and Owusu-Ansah returned a kickoff in his first play back.
"That's one thing I'm real natural at is returning kicks," Owusu-Ansah said. "So when I had that opportunity I just wanted to show my talent, and show it's real natural, and not something I have to pick up."
After practice Phillips said Owusu-Ansah has a lot of running ability and looked good in the return game. Phillips wasn't the only person who watched Owusu-Ansah and felt like the rookie can have an impact on special teams.
"I liked what he did in the kicking game; he showed some of that quickness and speed," Jerry Jones said. "Right off the bat, he's someone that could help us in the kicking game."
Although Owusu-Ansah may be able to make an early impact, it might not occur until the third preseason game. It's the limited amount of practice time, not injury concerns, that might keep Owusu-Ansah from playing in the two games. He said he has completed his five-month rehab and feels healthy.
"I don't think about the shoulder at all," Owusu-Ansah said. "Until something happens I'm not going to worry about it. I'm just going full speed."
Had my eye on this guy, but wanted to wait and see what happened in training camp. Is he doing kicks, punts, or both? Seems like he will get Nickel work, but not take over for either Flowers or Carr, so he'll need to see plenty of returns to be the guy. Any word on the split between Arenas and McCluster? This thread needs more Javier Arenas. The best returner in NCAA history had 3 for 82 on Friday, including a nice 42-yarder, and also a 99-yard KR TD which was called back on a non-related holding call from a UDFA who won't make the team. He should be top 5 from the get-go.
