no Gore did not look this good. What Peterson has accomplished, while being stuck part of the season in a RBBC, is significantly better than what Gore did last year. Its not even in the same ball park IMO.Last year, in my standard scoring non PPR league, Frank Gore averaged 16.4 points per game.So far this year, in my standard scoring non PPR league, Peterson is averaging 24.3 points per game.bicycle_seat_sniffer said:I dont want to rain on everyones ADP parade but didnt Frank gore look just as good last year.......
Actually, it's the same QB as last year. It's the no o-line bug that hit Gore this year. McKimmie, Hutch et al.... are not the SF offensive line.Looks like the "Philip Rivers" bug caught up to LT2 ;-)bicycle_seat_sniffer said:I dont want to rain on everyones ADP parade but didnt Frank gore look just as good last year and now the no QB/injury bug thing has caught up to him??
I am just saying in the Gore/ADP comparsion buyer beware. ADP looks good. But unless Minny drastaclly improves their QB I think he might have a tough road. Heck ADP didnt do much the two weeks before samshing SD.Keeping LT as the #1 is crazy. I don't have much quantifiable proof. But Terrell Davis, Marshall Faulk, Priest Holmes, they all only spent a couple years on top. LT has been there ...what 2 or 3 years (a couple ago it was between him and Shaun/LJ). To expect a guy to be #1 for that long is risky.

stinks having not drafted AP, eh?I am just saying in the Gore/ADP comparsion buyer beware. ADP looks good. But unless Minny drastaclly improves their QB I think he might have a tough road. no not really, my team are doing fine. He probably wont be healthy at the start of the season, and even if he is, he wont be 100%, no way is he the 5th ranked RB in redraft(or dynasty for that matter).Addai

I agree with you. I have been a Portis fan for a long time, he has the talent to be top 5, but for me he sits right about 10-15.Looks like I'm the only one giving love to Portis, who's top 10 right now, and that is with a make shift line. When everyone is back and healthy next year, and hopefully a new Head Coach who will open up the offense, watch out!![]()
These are PPR rankings. Bush was top 10 last year with Deuce and is top 10 this year without him. In PPR he's top 10 any way you slice it.For those ranking Bush in their top 10, do you have any concern about Deuce returning?
Suprised it took so long for Lendale White to show up on the list. Good post. Right now, he's top 10 in rushing yards, 2nd in rushing attempts, and has 5 rushing TDs (only 6 RBs have more - and one of them is Jamal Lewis). Tennessee seems to just be getting started with him as the main RB too - the last 4 weeks in a row he's had 25 or more carries (after only averaging 15.5 for the first 4 games) and the last 3 games in a row 100+ yards rushing - oh, and Tenn has won all 3 he's rushed for 100+.Cheating Sooner PetersonLTAddaiFWPSJaxWestbrookK JonesW MacGaheeMaroneyLendale WhiteRonnie Brown

When your QB is a complete bust like Alex Smith and your OL is getting old and the rest of the team and OC are horrible, a RB cannot produce. How quickly Frank Gore is forgotten.
Stick a fork in himFor those ranking Bush in their top 10, do you have any concern about Deuce returning?
Rudi has been the starter for many years now and usually injury=opportunity but in this case there isn't a young back waiting in the wings to take over.I didnt know Rudi Johnson was a member here at FBG?LT

Any and all of the above. Ummm, are you referring to the young player whose on IR, the young player who may come of the PUP list this week or the soon-to-be 30 year old 3rd down back whose starting as an injury replacement??
Yep. And Rudi's kept the job every time. I'm not saying I love Rudi or anything - but he will be the starter next year. Now 2009 or 2010, maybe.ETA: You realize that Watson is older than Rudi right?Any and all of the above.
