When you look at how the Pats have spent their money the past decade you can make a case for Adaluis Thomas.

Disagree with Emmitt & Ahman. Definitely bad signings and bad contracts, but the amount of money those two got as RB's pales in comparison to what gets paid to most of other FA positions. Ahman made about $8M on his contract over 2 years and Emmitt about the same, we could probably come up with 10 WR's on our own that got paid more and did less (TJ Housh for example?)

No Adalius Thomas or Nate Clements either?

I think it was something like "one hit wonders".Rob Johnson was on the list because of how he cashed in after subbing for Brunell in Jacksonville. IIRC, Timmy Smith from the 'Skins was on that list because of the big Super Bowl game. And there was also that Dallas back-up QB who had that great game subbing for Staubach and then left the team after punching Staubach.
