Top 20 WR's going forward.... (1 Viewer)

Wow, no love for TB Mike Williams? I would rather have him than the Sea one that's getting all the love in this thread.
Me, too, but his performance thus far puts him around WR35+
I thought that the OP wanted to know "going forward". I didn't give too much weight to year to date stats. I am trying to "guess" who finishes top 20.I don't like Tampa Mike as much, although I do like him, as much as Seattle Mike.Tampa Mike is a rookie and hasn't had to play 16 games. I bet he hits the rookie wall. Also, Raheem Morris is talking crazy talk saying the Bucs are the best team in the NFC despite blowout losses to Pittsburgh and New Orleans. This type of bravado has disaster written all over it.

I like the list. I think Nicks is top 5 though. He can't be stopped and Manning is looking to him under every circumstance. Better choice than Marshall, Calvin Johnson and maybe Wayne.

Jennings is way low at 19. With Finley out for the season, hes put up top 5ish numbers the last couple weeks.
I have to admit, i didnt put as much thought into my rankings as I should have. Jennings should be a few spots ahead of where i put him.But with Romo Injury, obviously Austin goes downa bunch of spots.Welker is too high to most at 11 but I think he 4 years or so with Brady are too much to overlook simply since Moss is gone. I have no doubt about it he will be a top 15 WR going forward

Owens will finish top 10 barring injury. Too many targets and the Bungles D can't stop anybody.

Lloys is a tough one...is the magic ride over or is he still a top option...Im torn.

I like Welker but more as a mid end #2 WR- perhaps #20 or so.

TO is putting up monster numbers but everyone is pointing out his targets...he could be a top option that wont cost an arm and a leg and still not a lot of believers out there

I love Nicks, but I am not sure I'd put him ahead of Wayne and Calvin. Probably in the same tier, but not sure if ahead of either.

I'll play:

1. Roddy White - Clear number 1

2. Andre Johnson

3. Calvin Johnson

4. Hakeem Nicks - I'd like to put him higher, but I can't put him above Johnson and Johnson just yet.

5. Reggie Wayne

6. Anquan Boldin

7. Brandon Marshall - I'd like to see the Dolphins get him the ball in the Red Zone

8. Miles Austin - I don't like projecting McGhee to take over in Dallas like others do.

9. Brandon Lloyd

10. Terrell Owens

11. Greg Jennings - Starting to come along. Will probably finish higher than this from this point forward, but I don't feel comfortable putting him higher yet.

12. Marques Colston

13. DeSean Jackson - This is assuming he's healthy this week. Would be top 10 sans injury.

14. Larry Fitzgerald - He's been fairly consistent in PPR leagues. I don't really know where to put him. He's been targeted a ton.

15. Pierre Garcon

16. Hines Ward

17. Mike Williams, TB

18. Percy Harvin

19. Mike Williams, SEA

20. Wes Welker

Anyone getting double digit targets each week should certainly be in the top 20. I can't see ranking Fitzgerald lower than 15. TO should be higher as well - he leads the league in targets and I see no reason that will end.

Drop Harvin from the top 20. I think he will go back to pre Moss Production because the Vikings coaching staff is just not smart enough to utilize him the right way. The ankle injury may linger as well. If Rice makes it back on the field then maybe he has a chance to get back in the top 20.

I think it may be a mistake for everyone to overlook Smitty (Carolina) with Matt Moore throwing to him. 15 targets last week. If Carolina protects this week, NO secondary could be exposed.

Thoughts on where Moss might come in with the move to Tennessee?

To early to tell or anyone willing to take some shots at his placement?

Ill take Mike Wallace and Brandon Lloyd ahead of all those guys easy..

10 Welker

12 Percy Harvin

13 Santana Moss

14 Terrell Owens

17 Kenny Britt

18 Mike Williams Seahawks

19 Greg Jennings

20 Hines Ward

If we were to have a PPR redraft today, I'd view them as:

1) Calvin Johnson (Offense is looking great, 6'5'' with Elite skills to go with it)

2) Andre Johnson (Ankle needs to heal up)

3) Roddy White (Getting it done, and no signs of slowing up)

4) Hakeem Nicks (Huge talent, and defenses don't seem to pay enough attention to him)

5) Anquan Boldin (Finally the #1 guy this year but DEs have to respect other players)

6) Reggie Wayne (I see him loosing targets to Garcon, but still good)

7) Brandon Marshall (Actually one of the most targeted players in the red zone, just not getting the passes to him)

8) Randy Moss (Good spot for him, TN loves the play action deep ball pass. S.O.S. = WAS/HOUx2/INDx2/JAC)

9) Greg Jennings (Loss of Finley has team trying to get him the ball more)

10) Desean Jackson (Big play threat)

11) Pierre Garcon (Bigger, stronger, and faster than Wayne. Just needs to work on those drops)

12) Steve Smith CAR (Getting the targets and they should translate to more receptions with Moore)

13) Marques Colston (Still on pace for 90+ catches and Saints are too good to not start putting points up)

14) Mike Williams TB (Getting it done every week and Freeman likes him. Team on the rise)

15) Larry Fitzgerald (Still getting the targets, and hasn't been bad in a PPR)

16) Brandon Lloyd (Still not fully sold, but after 8 weeks its obviously not a fluke)

17) Jeremy Maclin (Vick liked him in the red zone)

18) Terrell Owens (Team is up and down every week but he's been solid throughout it all)

19) Johnny Knox (Hopefully they used the bye to sort out some O-Line issues, thats the only thing holding him back)

20) Miles Austin (Still too good to not be in here somewhere, and its not like Kitna is in AZ QB class)

On the boarder: Sidney Rice, Vincent Jackson, Santana Moss, Austin Collie, Mike Wallace, Percy Harvin, Steve Smith (NYG), Dez Bryant, Wes Welker, Hines Ward

After last night's game I would move Nicks into top 5 and move Austin into the 10-15 category. I also like BLoyd. Here's my crack at the top 20 going forward in non-ppr. Also Fitz doesn't make my top 20.1. Roddy White2. Andre Johnson3. Reggie Wayne4. Hakeem Nicks5. Calvin Johnson6. Greg Jennings7. Brandon Loyd8. Anquan Boldin9. DeSean Jackson10 Hines Ward11 Brandon Marshall12 Percy Harvin13 Randy Moss14 Mike Williams (SEA)15 Terrell Owens16 Mike Wallace17 Santana Moss18 Pierre Garcon19 Jeremy Maclin20 Steve Smith (NYG)
If Denver keeps losing I think McDaniel may pull Orton at some point for Tebow. I think that would be a disaster for Lloyd.
Why would he do that?
i was :blackdot: as well.
