The early consensus was that Blackmon was the lead pipe lock to be the best of this year's class. Recently however, there seems to be some movement. Some, including Greg Cosell, feel that Floyd is the more explosive player. Curious to get the pool's read on this.

I personally prefer Floyd, I don't know what it is but something doesn't sit right with me about Blackmon. I still feel he'll be a good WR but not a typical first off the board type.

Blackmon has better separation skills at the line and is better after the catch. Those skills translate Directly to the nfl and make the most difference for me in choosing Blackmon over Floyd.

I think it's really close, and a no-lose situation because both will enjoy success at the next level. I'd probably take Blackmon but depending on where each of them lands that could change. Both will be great I think.

When did you see Blackmon using these skills? I watched a good deal of him and hardly recall him ever even being pressed at the LOS.

Actually Floyd has better separation skills and deals with press coverage better. I don't think Big 12 corners even know how to press. Blackmon got free release off of LOS most of time

Haven't paid any attention to the off-season but I thought Floyd had more potential to be great while Blackmon was a better bet to be a WR2 type in FF. Risk vs. reward.
