The feeling in the Bay Area was he would have made a bigger impact as a rookie. He didn't. Even going into this season folks were talking about his lack of size (weight) but looking at the first two game he was really playing well.

looked great the first two games, Niners do have a little depth at LB this year though

This a definite hit. We don't really have another LB with Lawson's skill set. At least now Brandon Moore will actually get some playing time after what he did last year.
