Steak Queen is a fast food establishment on Rexdale Blvd., just west of Martin Grove Rd. Despite being a 9.5-km drive from Mayor Ford's house, it's probably — other than chain outlets — the restaurant he visits most often. He is not always sober.

An investigator entered the restaurant and observed Mayor FORD, LISI and MANDERALO sitting together, eating and talking. All three appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and or drug but not to the state of impairment. Mayor FORD appeared disheveled with a large sweat stain circling his stomach, sweating profusely from his forehead, his eyes were squinting as he walked, his suit jacket was wrinkled and he wore it without a tie. He was observed leaving with what appeared to be 3 Styrofoam food containers in bags.

When do folks in TO start talking forced rehab for this guy? It's not even a thing a city would have to do, it's something his friends and family would do.

Louisiana had a governor who was put in a mental institution once, so why not?

Rehab? He is well on his way to re-election.

 
It's the gift that keeps giving.

I thought no way he could be re-elected but I think the citizens in Toronto genuinely like the guy and all his faults. Seems popular with the young'ins too.

Actually it the suburban Canadian version of the tea party that likes him. They don't like paying taxes but they must love paying higher fees. If Toronto re-elects this guy they will deserve to be the punch line they are becoming.

Noz Kazemi says she and her boyfriend were driving down Lougheed Highway Friday night, with her baby and dog in the car, when two men ran out in front of them as they approached North Road, one of whom they later recognized as Toronto Mayor Rob Ford.

"Two gentlemen ran right in front of us, quite a little bit of distance, but still if I was going any faster I definitely would have hit them."

Kazemi says they both rolled down their windows, wanting to swear at the pair. "The next thing, we recognized one of them and it was Rob Ford," she said.

Kazemi says she pulled into the gas station on the corner where Ford was being ticketed for jaywalking. She says the Toronto mayor drew such a crowd the police had to call for more officers to assist because "everyone wanted a picture.""It was kind of a chaotic scene, but it was interesting.

A second video of Toronto Mayor Rob Ford smoking what has been described as crack-cocaine by a self-professed drug dealer was secretly filmed in his sister’s basement early Saturday morning.


The clip, which was viewed by two Globe and Mail reporters, shows Mr. Ford taking a drag from a long copper-coloured pipe, exhaling a cloud of smoke, his right arm convulsing. The footage is part of a package of three videos the dealer said was surreptitiously filmed around 1:15 a.m., and which he says he is now selling for “at least six figures.”

Mr. Ford declined to answer questions from The Globe and Mail. Less than an hour after The Globe asked the mayor for comment, his lawyer, Dennis Morris, said Mr. Ford is planning to “take a break” from the mayoral election.

In one of the clips shown to The Globe and Mail on Wednesday, the mayor rapidly shifts his weight back and forth on the spot, talking into his cellphone and his right arm swinging at his side. When the camera pans around the room, a man that looks like Alessandro “Sandro” Lisi, the mayor’s former driver and an accused drug-dealing extortionist, can be seen in the background. Mr. Ford’s sister, Kathy, who has admitted in media interviews to being a drug addict, is sitting in front of her brother. In the last of three clips, Mr. Ford is holding the pipe and speaking to his sister.

The 32-year-old former Penthouse "Pet of the Year" hasn't yet officially registered as a candidate, but when she does, she will be the city's 55th mayoral candidate for the Oct. 27 election. Others include an indie rock singer, a lawyer and a clown.
