I found this one of the best questions they have asked. It took me awhile to come up with my honest answer on this and, being a Bear fan, my answer confirmed my fears.

When I look at pure talent over the entire team I had to answer the Lions. They probably have the 2 most talented defensive linemen in the game (granted Fairley's rookie season was cut short). Stafford is a tough (although, once again, struggled with nagging injuries in the past), smart and gifted QB. Megatron is arguably the best receiver in the game right now. Best is dynamic and dangerous, it's a shame he may never play again (if he's smart). With Reiff coming in their OL is starting to gel which should keep Stafford healthy.

Now the kicker. This team has all the talent they need to dominate but the Lions have no tradition. They need a leader. Calvin is a great player but he has not taken the team and focused them. There is a guy, I believe that can do this... Kevin Smith. This man is pure character and is exactly what the young undisciplined players on that team need. He is focused and has the walk to support his talk if he wanted to take this role.

If that team took on Smith's drive to succeed they could easily be the best team in the NFL. This coming from a Bear fan.

Would love to hear who you think is the most talented and why.

as a lifelong Falcon fan living the past 19 years in North Texas; I have seen the rise and fall of the Cowboys talent over the years.

My theory is the "talent" is based on record and reputation just as much as reality based. I have seen the Cows put a slew of players in the Pro-Bowl one season and the next just one.

"Team Talent" is tempered with injuries to starters, getting "the breaks" on the 5 keys play of every game (Dan Reeves theory) along with the correct plays being called by the OC and DC game in game out. Other than that the parity of the NFL is too great.

The odds of going to the Super Bowl in a season for any team are slightly over 3%- teams that get close year in and year out are always viewed as the most talented by fans and the talking heads which may or may not be true based on the breaks, injuries and scheduling
