Total pts. leagues vs. weekly match-up leagues: (1 Viewer)

Should one modify there drafting strategies if they are drafting players for the standard "team vs. team" weekly-matchup league as opposed to a league where you are simply drafting for the highest fantasy totals at the end of the year? I recently had a debate about this topic with someone and, without biasing any feedback by listing the arguements, wanted to know what the shark pool regulars' thoughts were.

I play both TP and H2H. My TP league runs all the way through the SB. There are absolutely differences in strategy between the two. But for TP and H2H leagues that both only run through week 16/17? No.

Yes an argument can be made that in a TP league the values of "home run hitters" such as a Lee Evans go up because you don't really care when or how he gets his points (like 1/2 of them coming in 4 weeks of the season) since EVERY pt. counts anyway, but honestly you're really just overthinking it at that point.
