Let's start the debate.

I think the NFC East is the toughest division in the NFC. The reigning World Champs sit atop this division heading into 2012. You could argue there isn't a more difficult division than the NFC East in the entire League. 3 teams have legitimate star QBs leading the offense and RG3 will now command the offense in the other.

NFC in general is a far tougher conference, and many of the NFC Divisions are stockpiled with talent.

I had someone tell me last week that the NFC East was the toughest division in the league last year, and I was like, "The division that went a collective 30-34 last year? Okay." Sure, it's always a dog fight to the end, but only one team was above average last year. RIght now, I'd say the NFC North, AFC North and NFC South are all tougher than the NFC East.

Uh, I think you are mistaken mi amigo.

Try having a division of these powerhouses:

Arizona

Seattle

San Fran

St. Louis.

Doesn't get much tougher than that.

I could see a legitimate argument for the NFC North. GB, Detroit and Chicago are all powerhouses, could all potentially make the playoffs.The NFC South is also an extremely tough division. I think the 3 NFC divisions mentioned all have 3 legitimate playoff teams and 1 new team emerging with young QBs and revamped defenses.The AFC North unfortunately plays in the AFC We'll see how the NFC East stacks against them this year!

You're out of your mind if you think that the AFC is laughable and that the NFC is significantly tougher. The NFC might be a tad better, but it is not lopsided.
