With the deadline approaching, figure it's a good time to think about who to stash in case trades go your way. Waivers running tonight.

Could be some off the radar players that may not be high on the priority list.

Off the top of my head:

I. Davis
D. Neal
T. Spears/T. Pollard
C. Dike (if Ridley gone)
J. Ford

I think there are a couple threads about this but, I think Jakobi is a strong possibility to move to a contender. He's essentially a rental at this point for the Raiders and, they're clearly not contending for anything this year.

BTJ is the most interesting option IMO but, it seems a lot less likely to happen.

I got a be honest, I despise the "RB X in KC would be awesome!!!"

It's everywhere and I don't think there is a lot of evidence to support it.

Maybe if they got a Derrick Henry caliber player it would be true otherwise, I think they're all backseaters to Mahomes and the "specialists".

They are 1 - 7 and he’s a free agent next year. That’s why. You don’t invest in a RB first when rebuilding.

If there is a God he won’t go to the Patriots (Henderson owner in dynasty) or the Chiefs (hate them). Chargers or Texans I wouldn’t care.

Neal actually had boost last week, he's easily got the most juice at RB on the Saints (even with a healthy Miller).

BUT - Kamara isn't going anywhere and he's going to get the most carries the rest of the way. Kamara is a tough SOB so I don't see a path to Neal being relevant until late 2026.

I think one of Olave or Shaheed gets traded so for deeper leagues (especially Dynasty) consider picking up Devaughn Vele. Someone has to be the #2 WR in New Orleans.

Also, and this one is a LONG shot, BUT… if Brian Thomas JR is traded, consider picking up Parker Washington.

Not for dynasty imo. Not sure what Neal will be, but I know what Pollard is going forward. I don’t think much is there long term. I don’t look at Pollard through a redraft lense.

I just think you're drawing a strong conclusion from three receptions for eleven yards with a long of eight yards.

I picked up Jaylen Wright in one league...maybe he gets shipped out to a better situation? Mack Hollins has seemingly pushed Diggs and Pop Douglas out of the picture. Been some buzz on Max Brosmer...especially if JJM gets reinjured or out right sucks.

Have picked up a considerable amount of Ford, Jaylen Wright , Helm and Vele as possible trade bump players.

Players like Isaiah Davis, Spears and Neal are on rosters in every league of mine, would have preferred them.


A little Keaton Mitchell as well and would add for him and Jaylen Wright there is also the benefit of their teams playing tonight and getting what I term a 'free-view" for them as my leagues waivers run Wednesday and Sunday morning and you can cut a player Sunday morning if you don' start them. In this case not planning to cut either of them, unless they suffer an injury, as I'm holding until after the trade deadline next week, but just nice to sit on these kind of players in case a RB ahead of them on the depth chart should suffer an injury tonight.

What strong conclusion? That he won't have any value until late 2026 or he looked faster than Kamara? He damn well better, he's 8 years younger.
