Does anyone have any information or thoughts on trading for people who land on IR? Good or Bad Strategy?

This may depend on your league set-up (how many roster spots and how many players start). It may also depend on your team situation (are you a strong contender or rebuilding). My experience has always been that it is usually not good to trade for a player on IR. IR players typically don't come at much of a discount in dynasty leagues and they tie up roster spots.

I assume this is about dynasty leagues.I've considered it, but never actually pulled the trigger. Thought about Mendenhall his rookie year, but his owner was really high on him (drafted him #3 in the rookie draft).I have done WW adds to get guys to stash on my IR....but in my league you just have RFA rights to WW pickups for the next season.

yeah dynasty for sure, but i was just wondering because i just traded huggins ( a waiver wire pick up) for donnie avery. The leauges ppr and we can start 4 wr. Main reason i did this was because i have sam bradford and i feel like he is going to be legit long term.
