Trading players to specific owners on purpose (1 Viewer)

What I've found somewhat successful is trading players to a specific team in your league while being observant of bye weeks. For example:

Dwayne Bowe has a bye in week 8. So I trade Bowe to the team I play in week 8, thus forcefully weakening that team on that week. This increases my chances of winning that week.

If I get equal value in return for Bowe, I make out pretty good.

I've tried it. Usually tough to work out a trade that is beneficial to your team rather than just weakening theirs. I do try to draft players with late byes when I value them equally, and try to trade them midseason for players that have already had their byes.

i've also used it the reverse way to "equalize" a trade that i feel is in my favor

pointing it out to the trading partner "hey, he can't even be used against you because when we play he is on a bye"
