Assuming there is a willing buyer who just has to have their top choice, there is a value to trading down from the 1st overall pick. I am trying to establish the premium. Perhaps a swap of first round picks, and then perhaps another swap, but this time not in the same round. For example, the drafter from slot #1 (Team A) trades 1st overall pick to the drafter from slot #8 (Team B).
So the trade would be:
Team A trades away pick #1 and pick # 96 (12th pick in 8th round).
Team B trades away pick #8 and pick # 41 (4th pick in round #4).
What have you seen in other PPR redraft trades involving the #1 overall pick?
