Same.  Every day up to seattle.  I see the amtrak train pass every day.  Sad stuff.

Friday my D took an Amtrak home from school . Was supposed to depart at 4 but delayed until 8 , she said there was a train from Chicago on the wrong track. This can’t be that hard , can it?

we're taking amtrak to dc on saturday. :fingerscrossed;

also just now walked the subway tunnel in NYC where the ####### blowed himself up last week. I was with my daughter and had my head even more on a swivel than normal- put her against the wall with me blocking to the side. first time I remember ever being in that tunnel- really narrow and busy... would've been terrible had that thing really blown.

Reports this morning say that the train was travelling 50mph above the speed limit (80 in a 30).  How does that happen?  Do they let just anyone drive these things?
