Why do you have Miami so low?The Jacket said:I'd rank: Cleveland, KC, field, Miami, Detroit.
Because they are the tightest of the bunch, and Peterson simply won't let him go for a sixth-rounder when a team like Cleveland will give more. Why do you have Miami so low?The Jacket said:I'd rank: Cleveland, KC, field, Miami, Detroit.
but Green won't re-do his contract to accomodate a trade to Cleveland.Green controls where he will go -Because they are the tightest of the bunch, and Peterson simply won't let him go for a sixth-rounder when a team like Cleveland will give more. Why do you have Miami so low?The Jacket said:I'd rank: Cleveland, KC, field, Miami, Detroit.
Pure speculation at this point.but Green won't re-do his contract to accomodate a trade to Cleveland.
Miami isn't the front-runner because the Chiefs won't let him go for garbage. It may to come to it that he's released and signs in Miami, but that's not going to happen for a long time so other teams are certainly more likely at this stage.Miami has to be the front runner because Green will approve that deal
"Field" is wagering lingo for "everyone else".What does 'Field' mean here?
I agree, but only if they get ahold of quinn.Miami on Draft Day.
How does Green control where he goes...does he have a no trade clause in his contract?but Green won't re-do his contract to accomodate a trade to Cleveland.Green controls where he will go -Because they are the tightest of the bunch, and Peterson simply won't let him go for a sixth-rounder when a team like Cleveland will give more. Why do you have Miami so low?I'd rank: Cleveland, KC, field, Miami, Detroit.
KC won;t keep him at his current contract

Who are they? Alex Marvez from the sun-sentinel.com is of the opinion that if Cleveland lands Green then Quinn has a good shot of falling to Miami.I agree, but only if they get ahold of quinn.Miami on Draft Day.
Miami trades a 4th for Green if quinn falls to teh dolhpins at 9.Who are they? Alex Marvez from the sun-sentinel.com is of the opinion that if Cleveland lands Green then Quinn has a good shot of falling to Miami.I agree, but only if they get ahold of quinn.Miami on Draft Day.

I don't think he has a no trade contract, but I believe (not 100% sure) that his salary for the upcoming season is something like $7 million. All he has to do is refuse to restructure and he has control. They will not keep him at that salary.

This doesn't make sense to me. The Chiefs won't let him go for garbage, yet they'd be willing to release him for nothing? See the problem is that other teams know that the Chiefs don't want to bring Green back at his high number so no team is going to give much for Green, especially after his performance last season.Miami isn't the front-runner because the Chiefs won't let him go for garbage. That's right and like Steve McNair a few years ago he won't restructure putting increasing pressure on the Chiefs. 5th or 6th round due to age and his injury make the most sense. This doesn't make sense to me.
