We all felt pretty good last week when we loaded up on RBs and WRs and grabbed Green soometime around the eighth round of the draft. Now, after seeing the ugliest hit of the day and seeing our QB toted out of the stadium on a cart, immobilized and not moving, we don't feel quite as smart. If you other Green-owners are anything like me, you're feeling the need to make a move...
At this time, the pickings at QB on the WW are likely to be slim, and potential traders have you right where they want you. I thought we could use this thread to comment on updates on Green, and discuss possible moves.
In my 12 team, performance league, I have Kitna as my backup QB. I didn't see any of the Seattle-Detroit game today, but Kitna's numbers looked like dogmeat. The available leftovers on the WW include Rivers, Carr, Losman, Grossman, Collins, Pennington, Frye and ASmith. None of these guys looked good enough to carry my team for any length of time, but I'm obviously not getting too far with Kitna, either. I'm thinking of picking up Pennington or Rivers, and playing the matchups if Green is out for any length of time.
Hoping Green's injury isn't as bad as it looked...
