This is how I see play out also. Agree Huff may have a say in this. If Mitchell can stay healthy, he may crack the starting lineup late in the year. Wouldn't be surprise to see them shop Huff and trade him before trade deadline, which is late October (I think). Beleive I saw Mitchell in a few nickel packages Monday night, eyes were gettin heavy.Long term I think the Raiders are hoping both Branch and Mitchell start with Branch eventually shifting to FS and replacing Eugene and Mitchell laying the hammer at SS.
I'd rank him high. He is also so good on ST that he plays all the cover teams. Gibril was a monster on this defense, tackles-wise last year, Branch to me is an every-week starter at S, and for sure at CB.Updates? And where would you rank Tyvon amongst CBs? (He qualifies as a CB in Yahoo!)
ahhhhhhhhhhhh oook....thats good to know at least! The Associated Press reports Oakland Raiders OT Cornell Green (calf), S Tyvon Branch (groin) and TE Zach Miller (concussion) suffered injuries during the team's Week 4 game. Head coach Tom Cable did not provide any information on their injuries.
mmm, this could explain yesteday's poor performance
has anyone heard anything further...just wondering when he'll be back...i picked him up last week
Full participation today. We'll see what tomorrow brings.Branch (hip) was limited at Wednesday's practice, the Oakland Tribune reports. Analysis: Branch is questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants.
Take a look at the post just above yours.Says Branch was limited in practice on Wednesday but haven't heard anything since.Anyone know if he will play on Sunday and if he participated fully in practice recently?
How do you know? I haven't heard anything on the subject. Do you have a link?Looks like Branch is good to go. He's in a great spot and until I see Mitchell do something to stand out I think Tyvon is a decent value play.
He practiced fully Thursday and Friday and is listed as probable. How do you know? I haven't heard anything on the subject. Do you have a link?
