They should do another comeback season.
:goodposting: I still don't know why there wasn't a ton of love for that season, but i have been wanting a comeback season for a few years. I think it may be tough for the UFC to convince veteran fighters to live in that house for 2 months or whatever, but i am sure they can find some people. a comeback season would be a nice break from the regular formula, and would help it when it came back to it. the fact that Serra beat GSP off that show makes it seem like a very obvious decision for the UFC to try it again, and i am not sure why they are so hesitant to do it. they could have guys on there that they know would put on good fights too. And I am not a big fan of the event this weekend starting at 7:00 a.m. or whatever, but i will be in at some point. Biggest thing is i guess all bets will have to be in Friday night: Hyun Gyu Lim (-260) vs. David Mitchell (+180)John Lineker (-130) vs. Yasuhiro Uru####ani (-110)Alex Caceres (-210) vs. Motonobu Tezuka (+160)Riki Fukuda (-320) vs. Tom Deblass (+240)Takeya Mizugaki (-420) vs. Jeff Hougland (+300)Jon Tuck (-280) vs. Tiequan Zhang (+200)Mac Danzig (-255) vs. Takanori Gomi (+215)Dong-Hyun Kim (-255) vs. Paulo Thiago (+215)Thiago Silva (-360) vs. Stanislav Nedkov (+300)Rich Franklin (-310) vs. Cung Le (+255)Probably a good thing, because there isn't a ton of value on the card. Add in the fact that they are fighting in China and i don't know who the judges will be, plus you always get the weird variable of guys having to be out of their element for a week or so and fighting at a weird time, it is probably for the better that it is early and i won't be tempted to add to any bets as the card goes on. i have some leans for now, and will have a hard time playing any of the dogs at the current odds. I have to wait for my main book to put the lines up to see how it goes...

Also pretty big news tonight with Strikeforce closing in January, and the UFC already mentioning that Rousey will be fighting in the UFC soon. Miesha Tate is also signed, and i am happy for guys like Gilbert Melendez who basically just lost close to a year of his career waiting for Strikeforce to die off. I wonder who will come over and make a name for themselves when they get here? I think a Melendez-Eddie Alvarez fight could be a great way for both to come and join the UFC.

Is the card airing on Fuel at 7am or are they delaying the broadcast til PM? I have to remember to set my DVR either way and get some plays in.

facebook fights start around then, maybe 7:30. the fuel card starts at 8:00 a.m. with the pre-show, and the event is on from 9:00 a.m. to noon. looks like they will replay it at night too

ModoggWho we taking tonight?
huh, almost forgot about it. i think Fabiano fights tonight, i like him to wreck shop. Joe Warren has to win his fight too
Decision coming, but that was 30-27 Rad Martinez if I am scoring at home(OR...if I am alone)
i taped it for now, but did peek a bit online. will be interesting to see, no reason Fabiano should have lost that. i'm guessing he underestimated Martinez, but Fabiano has been around long enough that there isn't an excuse for that

fingers are crossed the main book i use now posts lines, but not sure they will. If they do, i likely will be riding Franklin, Silva, Kim, Caceres, and Lineker. I know a ton of action has come in on some of these guys and moved the lines a lot (Tuck opened at +125, now i see him around -280  . That is just dumb). If some of the lines move like that i may be going the other way. Not any too big of plays, fighting in China really throws some variables into the mix like travel and fight times.

Glad to see Bonnar, Forrest and Rich heading out of the game personally. Bonnar sucked even being on performance enhancing drugs his whole career. Talk about a guy living off 1 fight (a loss of course) over 7 years ago.

They helped UFC grow and had some exciting moments but I think along with their limited skills being exposed, they also lost their passion for fighting.

Bonnar had a pretty solid career. He just couldn't beat the elite fighters. He only has two bad loses on his record; Coleman and a doctor's stoppage to Soszynski. His fights were always entertaining. There is no shame in losing to the other guys... Jones, Machida, Forrest, Evans, Silva. That is a pretty damn good list of fighters and he went to a decision with most of them. While he certainly didn't have elite talent, he could fight.

All fighters on weight. Really looking forward to seeing GSP again.

GSP vs Condit

Calling 4th round rear naked for GSP. I don't think he messes around with Condit for too long on the feet. Takedowns early and often with lots of ground and pound. Wears Condit down and eventually sinks in a choke.

Hendricks vs Kampman

1st round KO for Hendricks. Kampman is the more talented fighter but man he gets hit a lot and I don't think he'll survive the inevitable big punch from Hendricks.

little dissapointed in no Friday night posting by derek for bellator. just snuck one play in, small guy:

Rich Clementi +115

 i never liked Clementi anyway. Got a few leans for tomorrow, and have a few in already: Cyril Diabate -105 - little concerned about his age, and if Griggs can bully him around, but if he can't i see no reason why Diabate doesn't win herePablo Garza +260 - I am not sure how much Mark Hominick's heart is still in it. I think Garza has a better shot than these oddsthinking about Dos Anjos, and maybe Damm or Azamat Gashimov if the odds stay above +200. small one's on those one's. I do like Siler and Riddle, but little worried about a quick turnaround for Riddle (i think), and need to think more about Siler. looks like a good card

Trigg on the Canadian pre-show talking about how terrible Sakara was looking at weigh-ins and "about 30 minutes ago". If you degenerates care about that kinda thing ;)

Can someone just break GSPs neck already? His title fights are just two dudes rolling around on the ground for 25 minutes...nttawtt. so glad i pay for this BS anymore
