UFC wagering: no longer stuck with the old thread title. The window to change it is here! (9 Viewers)

You can tell Campuzano took this fight on short notice. I don't think I've ever seen a 135#er gassed after 2 rounds. Oh well, was a pretty decent fight.

Pettis clearly took rd 1, rd 3 was a toss-up -- but two of those judges gave rd2 to Pettis? wtf.

Sorry friends. you still have to go to work on monday.

no worries. and agreed, the 30-27s were a little out of whack. i hope that means we have lazy judges who will GSP the fight no matter how the fight goes

for no apparent reason, everytime Mike Goldberg smugly quips "SLIP. AND. RIP." , I want to kill small animals.
funny, but i was thinking the same thing tonight (actually, not with the killing things, just real annoying). it's like he is really trying to push the new "lay-n-pray", way too hard. not sure why it bothers me so much, but it is like nails on a chalk board when he says it

Rest of card I'm going Hendricks, Sonnen, Woodley and MacD (who will round out my parlays at 5 for 5 with a win, 3 in the books already). I'm prepared to lose a little, but it's been a good card so far and I'm in the midst of a very nice UFC run on the past 2 cards. Baga pulling this one off would be nice too.

i'm heavy on GSP, and haven't heard much from the Hendricks supporters except his heavy left. what do you got?

I'll take a Baga KO..
this is a tough one to score. i'm thinking it is 19-19 so far. Baga rd 1, Elliot rd 2. i think rd 2 was clear for Elliot
Yep...depends if the "pitter patter" wins out.
hmm, can't believe unanimous. 30-27 is just dumb, and i'm not sure how Baga won that 3rd. judging has been weird all night, i really think vegas has terrible judges way too many times. close fight, but i'm not sure what baga did to win 2 rounds

I just REALLY want Hendricks to win. I definitely think he has very few paths to victory. You are probably making the proper wager.

If GSP gets caught by Hendricks like he did against Condit, he loses. Other than that, I dunno. GSP has outwrestled plenty of decorated wrestlers in his time, but I'm going Hendricks tonight anyway.

GSP will win with his head, first and foremost.

Will keep Hendricks at bay with jabs and leg kicks. when the time is right GSP will likely land a few takedowns... and as we all know, his takedown defense is second to none... so Hendricks likely in for a long night.

I have visions of an armbar around rnd 3 for GSP.... if not that, he wins by unanimous decision

Hey Rory, maybe you should try and, you know, fight. Hate what Firas has done to his game. Very happy to see Lawler get the well-deserved decision, hope this changes Rory's approach in the future.

it has to. crazy what has happened to him and his style. it does make sense for him to think about moving to a new camp, it isn't cerebral what he is doing. it is simply lay and pray, and stalling

Yeah, I can't really understand Rory's approach these days. I don't even know if it's Zahabi, though - when they cut to his corner you could hear Firas telling him "ok now it's time to work". I think Rory's just a nutcase who's not quite all there.

If Woodley can ever improve his cardio, we have a contenda here.
I'm not sold on him yet. He has some nice wins but has looked average in other fights. This win should give him a nice fight next...we'll see what he can do against some upper tier guys.
He looks average anytime someone gets him out of the 1st round.
Yeah, I'm gonna have to see TWood take out a couple more top guys before I can forget the way he looked against Shields and Marquardt. Like you said, if he can't get an early finish he tends to get shaky.

Can't really bring myself to root for either of these guys. I think Sonnen gets starched early here, but if he somehow should win, I wonder how that would affect their broadcasting relationship. Rashad isnt exactly the kind of guy that seems like he could get past that.

He gassed horribly in a win against Paul Daley.
