Just watching Dana putting the belt around Nunes......while the company gave her ZERO promotion (because queen Ronda couldn't be bothered to do media)......is absolutely priceless.

Her last 2 fights it's like she doesn't even have judo.  You would think she would excel at least at being better defensively giving her a chance to work the judo in.  She just stands there and inhales punches.  To Nunes credit though I guess too.

 
I'm a bit surprised at all the Rhonda hate, and I wonder if it is her that has caused it or what. All I know is we wouldn't have JJ if we didn't have rouset so for that I'm certainly thankful for. 

Also cant imagine any fighter beating down Edmond's door to train there 

 
I actually kind of feel bad for Ronda. She was more a media creation than anything, where her biggest mistake was to believe her own hype. She finally got Tyson'd against Holm and now she really can't take a punch at all. Her heart is clearly not in MMA anymore and it's time to walk away.

 
I love it

i want to see her comeback though.  She's like the worst role model yet so many girls and women look up to her.

Not wanting to do the media stuff didn't help. But I think more of the hate is directed at the UFCs bubble being burst.  Rousey has been great for the sport.  I don't see how anyone can hate her.

 
So strange seeing Rousey just standing there trying to punch. Was never her game, tie ups and armbars always were. She had zero chance with any other strategy. Like asking Ricky Henderson to hit 50 home runs.

The Tyson analogy was my first thought.  Once you've been knocked out the doubt is always in the back of your mind.  

 
WWE will take Ronda for payday appearance(s). Can't imagine Hollywood offers her anything at this point. Thought she hurt her chances of that before tonight (avoiding media)

Was kind of sad watching this. Amanda was just landing bomb after bomb and Ronda was desperately trying to grab her.

She excelled in the infancy of women's MMA.  Just like the beginning of men's MMA the guys with the best ground game were the top.  Now that everyone knows Jiu-Jitsu the stand up is what sets the best apart.

It's hard to say. The sport has grown leaps and bounds every year, especially in women's mma. 4-5 years ago there was no question she was legit. But these other women have the means and elevated their games. It's crazy to see how mma has gone over the last 10 years 

 
And at the next UFC we get to see her washed up bf get beat again.  I hate seeing the bigger guys hang around too long.  When they get their bells ringing too many times, they are never the same.

Sums it up nicely.  You can't have such a huge hole in your game.   She's gotten exposed twice now.   

 
what a fall from grace.  She's set financially already but doubt she keeps many of her endorsements.  Her star has burned out in epic fashion.

Yep. She's got the luxury to retire that few have. Set for life. Even if she won I thought there were only 2 possibilities she'd even fight after: Holm or Cyborg. 

She'll get a huge payday with WWE if she wants it for appearance(s) along with TV/Film opportunities (even if nowhere near the possibilities she once had)

I love Rhona, but I wasn't surprised at all about what happens.  I think we need to give more credit to Amanda Nunes for being the ferocious striker that she is over vilifying Rousey for not bothering to learn how to defend herself.  #### Cody Garbrand.  The last thing we need are more douchebags in the UFC.

 
Last night saw 2 fighters at opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to movement.  Despite losing, Dominic Cruz could have some of the best foot work ever seen in MMA.  Always changing directions, and very hard to hit.  Ronda on the other hand, was the slowest fighter of the night.  I don't watch much women's mma, but I don't recall any UCF fighter being as slow as her.  Brock Lesner was bobbing and weaving vs Hunt better than Rousey did.

Fought a bunch of jobbers and thought she could do it.

Got exposed against Holm (Rousey got knocked down before the submission) and learned absolutely nothing this time around.

Nunes will lose in the next couple fights.
