I'm in a keeper league and we have a manager in our league that is tops when it comes to fantasy football and has a team as dominant as I've seen. LT, Westy, JJ, and maybe Fitz were all keepers.....Several of us also came away with pretty good teams, but some of the guppies in the league pretty much handed this guy the title. Kind of sucks for the rest of us, but oh well.....like hareycarey said, we'll keep you posted as a tribute to this mighty "Louis Shoe".

In such leagues, for every good team there is one on the other extreme, owned by some guy who either doesn't get it or isn't into it as much, that is dreadful.

15 keepers, it's actually a 30 man roster, but 7 slots are between a coach and 6 IDPs who score so low that they almost don't count, most of us just drop the IDP on a bye, and only the select few are kept - Peppers, Rodney Harrison, Vilma and Ray Lewis IIRC.

I have a team in a redraft league that's looking like it'll be dominant. It's only 2-2 at the moment, but I'm just starting to get the final pieces in place, and I think it'll be a good one. I think so. My experience has been that there are one or two owners that can be preyed upon in trades, and the owners that figure it out first gain a big advantage. Even in leagues where 10 of 12 teams are highly competive, it only takes 1 or 2 that trade poorly or cut players with short-term thinking, and some team can emerge very strong especially if they have a little luck on their side.

He picked up Horn when he moved from KC to NO cheaply. He picked up Priest Holmes when he went to KC, and Gates was a late round pick last year.In a 14 team league where team are starting WR's like Keary Colbert and RB's like Marcel Shipp this guy blows the doors off everyone.

Yep we are just leaguemates that think Mr. Shoe has an unbeatable team and were wondering if that is common and how unbeatable he actually is. We will keep this post updated with how he performs and our quest to just stay close whenever we match up although we know we can never beat him.

Actually, this seems like a likely outcome in an 8 man "casual" league where only 4 owners actually care. To have 1 of the 4 teams be dominant isn't really that unlikely, considering the pool of stud players available. Heck, I could see the possibility that another team is almost as packed with studs as "Joe Shoe" or whatever we're calling him.

7 of the 8 make pickups and stuff and everyone is there for the draft, but only about 4 of us are hard core fantasy football players. It's not as bad as BANTA made it out to be. I'm not surprised there's a dominant team...I just thought there would be more of them and BANTA and I would be included, but I guess Louis Shoe has shown us how to play FF.

Yes they do. Make good trades, get lucky on draft picks and it happens.

12 team, 1 player keeper league, with option to keep a player drafted in 11th round or later (or waiver wire) in lieu of a 6th round pick.Our only 4-0 team is 41-3 is cbssportsline's "breakdown" (as if you played every team every week). Unfortunately, they are in my division. I think I have the second best team (though several are close), but will have to wildcard my way into the playoffs and hope I avoid this team until the championship.These guys tend to be in the middle or maybe a little better every year. The LT/Collins keeper combo just put them heads above everyone going into this year's draft.

Not bad at all...If trent green will start playing like many thought he would coming into this season that team will be unbeatable....Although I'm guessing Louis Shoe could come up with a team to top that if he was in a 16 team league...He's going to be unbeaten this year and he's playing us like a violin
