There have been recent rumors on all of these guys or just flat out situations that giving these guys a chance.

What are your thoughts.

I personally, like Mike Bell as Shanahan has always had a knack of doing something crazy and being view as a genius at the end of the day because of it. I can definitely see Dayne busting, and the other Bell being a similar role as last year.

Trung is the only Canidate I know. However, you have listed several candidates that could be in for a breakout year. I'll go with Morency.

By the definition of "unknown" there is only proper answer.

Is DD's knee that bad that Morency is a likely start?

I find this hard to believe.

Harrison. I think some issues with the OLine will require a shiftier, 3rd down type back and Harrison will end up seeing more touches than Droughns.

My initial intention was for RBs who were 3rd or 4th stringer although Morency is a stretch and Bell is a non-candidate with the recent news. Rookies aren't eliminate as Harrison was listed, but for sake of argument the top 7 slingers(Bush,Williams,White,Addai,Mahroney,Drew,Norwood,Calhoun) have had plenty of discussion and didnt feel there status qualified as unknown.

I believe with the recent news Bell/Morency will be the lead candidates. But to get closer to what the topic underheader was is who is this years Willie Parker, it would seem that is deserving of Mike Bell at this point.

The problem with making this call is that you need 2 injuries for the guy to have the chance. For FWP, it was Bettis and Staley. For Gado, it was everyone but Favre getting hurt (ok, Green, Davenport and Fisher). So it is an interesting question, but I prefer "which RB 3rd or lower on the depth chart could handle the starting job on their team?"I'd like to see Darren Sproles (SD) or Tyson Thompson (DAL) get chances.

I like Tyson Thompson a lot,

I also think Adrian Peterson

has nice talent,

but probably won't get a sniff

at RB in Chi-town.

Why do you like Tyson Thompson? I was at camp the first weekend and he looked horrible... I know its early, but he just didn't look like he belonged on the field...
