Unsettling injury information re: Gore (1 Viewer)

MLB Lofa Tatupu(Seahawks) on Sirius NFL Radio ch 124 today rated the top 3 rb's he has faced and he ranked Gore #3....... #2 was TomlinsonAnd #1 AMAZINGLY to the surprise of everybody was Fred Taylor
Fred Taylor was amazing in the late '90s, before he came down with all his injuries. But Lofa wasn't in the league then.

John Lynch and Joey Porter have both said(a few years ago) Fred Taylor was the best back in the league. I think he gets a bad rap around fantasy boards because of the injuries. he is a big, fast, strong back and an underrated football player.

I happen to know Dr Meister personally, ever since we had our first high school jobs working at McDonalds where he was known as the Burger Meister and we have kept in touch ever since. I just called him and asked for a further clarification on the "tissue issue" thing. I asked if he could put it into layman's terms as much as possible, as I'm really not familar with medical terms. We had a 30 minute discussion that started off with "the hand bone is connected to the wrist bone..."It turns out that all this stuff is connected to Gore's knee bone so it could be serious!!!

I have no problem downgrading this guy due to his injury history. Bad genetics, bad luck, bad voodoo, bad mojo whatever it is this guy has got it.He is probably the #6 RB on my board.
5 owners in front of you would be thrilled.Gore's hand is no worse than Ronnie Brown's in 2006 is it? Until he starts running on his hands, he's staying #2 on my board. SJ isn't catching 90 passes again and FG is the only Top 4 back from 2006 that DIDN'T score 10 TDs.

Good news for #3. If I had the #3 pick and LT and SJ were off the board, I have no idea who I would pick. I hope, I'm not in that situation.

The guys with pick 1 & 2 will be thrilled? From my eyes guys like Parker, Shaun Alexander & Travis Henry represent a greater likelihood of playing 16 games and putting up similar or better numbers than Gore.
