Tactics question:

On that last US free kick, with time at almost 40 minutes, would it have been the wiser move to use that kick to work the ball closer to goal?  Instead Honduras had a real chance to possess the ball all the way to half time.

I believe they were expecting around 30k for the game.  Most of the fans will be there to see Mexico so it will start filling up in second half.

Random halftime taeks...

Way too many times Honduras is turning past or dribbling through the pressing defender.  Pressure on the ball is great, but if you can't stay in front of your man it's kind of a problem.

Kind of feels like too many of these guys are trying to prove to each other how great they are and playing the hero ball through a sea of defenders or trying to dribble through too many players.  Think they'd be better off simplifying the play right now.

McKennie and Yueill aren't offering enough.  They've got to slow Honduras down.
