It definitely hit his hand, which was far enough away from his body for a correct call, I think.   It was the classic PK call that took a play with an xG of .02 and turned into a play with an xG of .75.

Obviously we will take it and be happy with the first part of qualification but I think they are going to need a much better performance against Honduras to make the Olympics.

This game would have been significantly different I think had CR finish the PK.

The whistle blew...the US started celebrating...the camera zoomed in really close and all of a sudden a CR player came flying in from the right side. Apparently a fight broke out. Crappy camera angles and too zoomed in, so hard to tell who was involved. I thought I saw someone on CR throw a bomb at Cowell (which he basically just shrugged off).

The whole thing lasted like 15 seconds, if that. Didn't see anyone take any real damage. Who knows what the consequences will be, if any.

FS2 has zero to do with any production outside of providing the voice over for the announcers.  Everything else you see is controlled by Concacaf typically via a local TV production crew.

The 1.52 feels low.  I thought Quinn had two excellent scoring chances in the first half.

US vs Honduras for the Olympic berth next game.  Totally different feel in a full stadium.  I hope the US is ready for the atmosphere difference.
