I am just wondering what people's opions are regarding the ideal baseline for defenses.
My concern is that "Joe's Secret Formula" undervalues the elite defenses. If you owned Baltimore or Chicago last year, you had a decided advantage over your competition at the DST position each and every week. In my league where I owned the Bears last year, I went undefeated and the Bears DST was a huge part of that.
I just cannot see the Bears/Ravens/Patriots having the same X value as someone like, say, Lendale White.
Would appreciate other people's thoughts on this.
