I plan on correcting any bugs, adding the rookie designators and will tweak the projections once more before locking this FREE app down for the season.

We will continue to update this application through the preseason for subscribers.

Too bad Open Office doesn't support macros. I hate transferring this to my work computer. But still....THANKS!!
Sigh. Open Office would be so much better if it did. Oh well. I'll have to be jealous of all those Excel users for a little while longer.

It also stinks if you have HPs and their Quattro Pro knock-off. :wall: What was I thinking? Apparently not about FF when I bought my last PC...

I have Open Office 2.0. When I open calc, there is a Enable Macros button which I press. It brings up the VBD app no problem.

Hmmm... I'm running OpenOffice 2.0.2 as well, but when I hit Generate Cheatsheet I get an error message and the cheatsheets don't update with my scoring system. "BasicProviderImpl::getScript: no script!"

I spoke too soon. I get the same error message when I hit "Generate Cheatsheet".

How can I boost the value of the QB...

When I run the auction values the top QB is worth only $18....i think Peyton might go for a little more then $18 in my draft..

The VBD app doesn't tell you how much the players will go for at auction, it tells how much they are worth. Your goal is to let people overspend and to find the values they leave behind. That being said, I think the default baselines don't work very well for auctions. The way I set baselines last year was to look at past auctions to see when player cost went to $1. So if there are usually 24 QBs that people pay more than $1 for, set the QB baseline to QB#24, and if there are 45 RBs, set the RB baseline to RB#45, and so on.

People tend to overpay for QBs even after you make those kinds of adjustments. Look for value.

Is it functional if you choose "save as webpage" and upload it? like www.footballguys.com/somefilename.xls?

Sorry for being ignorant...but where can I tweak this baseline...in the VBD

Oh, I forgot, the VBD app doesn't let you tweak baselines; you'll have to export to the Draft Dominator.

I'm going to open the baseline stuff this year for people to tweak (in the subscription version)
