Nothing official but he has played 98 straight games including the playoffs and he feels like he will play this week again.
SANTA CLARA -- Tight end Vernon Davis hasn't practiced all week but sounds encouraged his left hamstring won't keep him out of Sunday's game against Indianapolis.
He is listed as questionable, as are defensive tackle Ray McDonald (ankles), safety Eric Reid (concussion) and running back LaMichael James (knee).
Davis said he was simply waiting on clearance from team doctors to play. He's played in the 49ers' past 98 games, including playoffs. On Friday, he did individual conditioning drills on a side field as practice got under way.

I'm starting him, but I'm not confident AT all. Worried that this hammy thing will linger, and prevent him from being effective, even if he plays.
