Vernon Davis (1 Viewer)

I still think he has the talent to be an elite TE, but his surrounding cast is terrible and the 49er playcalling is questionable at best.

For instance, you'd think Vernon would make a great safety blanket for whichever beleaguered SF QB was in there. However, they send him on deep routes quite a bit, which makes no sense when you can't pass protect long enough to get the ball down field.

We should institute a rule that anyone questioning The Projections has to put up their own set of projections- if theirs are less accurate than Bloooms or Dodds, they're outta here.

Put up or shut up.

Keep up the good work guys.

And what if theirs are more accurate?

They get the attention that their mommies didn't give them as children.
Why are you taking such offense? You really think these guys are beyond questioning?

It gets a little old when people are complaining about this EVERY week. NOONE can accurately prognosticate what will happen in an incredibly variable event such as an NFL football game. If they could they'd be living in Aruba sipping cocktails on the beach not playing fantasy football. The rankings are what they are, a best guess. Don't know why everyone expects anything more.Maybe we shouldn't even play the season, just crown the champion on FFL draft day, after all the best players always perform the best and therefore the best teams always win, right?

In fairness, the OP here started the discussion off the right way: "something looks funny to me, why might so and so be ranked so high/so low?" I think that's a legit question to ask. Maybe you missed something when looking at the situation.

What gets old is when people post "how was so and so ranked so high/low this week" after the fact. In those cases I completely agree that they should have to do their own rankings for us to critique and compare to FBGs.
