Their site is sloooooowww. In the time it took me to reset my password and get back to checking out, the price rose to $17. I'm out.I wasn't clear what I meant - I just meant that I think it's worth the effort. Not the game. The site offering the downloadPlan on spending about 20 minutes trying to get it and the download packs into your cart. Site is horribly slowPlaying it on the PS3 and I do like it. I was finally able to figure out the first boss battle. I'm getting the hang of it now.
I have been playing this a little bit. Only an hour or so in, but it does not seem materially distinguishable from AC Brotherhood. Recommended for fans of the series, especially at that price point.AC Revelations is 29.99 at Best Buy.

Very fun game for me and my 5 yr old. If a level gets too difficult for him he can just pull his character off the portal until we get to an easier area and then put it back on. Very good voiceoversmand interesting story too. Really enjoying it.My 7 and 5 yr old are co-opting on Skylander. Looks like a pretty cool little game.

It'll be like watching smeg dry on a cow's eyeball after you play the Batman games. My grandmother in law bought me ARkahm Asylum and Arkham City, so I'm looking forward to playing those two games. I'm also purchasing LA Noire. Has anyone played it? What's it like?

Got Xbox for Christmas, and COD with it (actually my sons, but I play all night after he goes to bed)
I jumped into a live game online, and holy ####.....I played like 5 or 6 rounds, and only got 4 or 5 kills. It seems everyone else never misses, and I cant hit anyone.
Any tips to help me from getting my ### blown off every 5 seconds would be good...LOL

If that's the case with AC2, stay very VERY far away from Demon's/Dark Souls. It'll be expensive replacing your TV, dishes, & car, probably.Played Assassin's Creed 2 for about a half an hour last night and was ready to throw my controller through the screen.I don't think I'm cut out for platformers.

What didn't you like about it?Played Assassin's Creed 2 for about a half an hour last night and was ready to throw my controller through the screen.I don't think I'm cut out for platformers.
It seemed like I would do the exact same thing to jump every time, but half the time I'd either sit there or miss where I was clearly jumping.I had the same frustrations with the first Uncharted. What didn't you like about it?Played Assassin's Creed 2 for about a half an hour last night and was ready to throw my controller through the screen.I don't think I'm cut out for platformers.
i remember the same thing when i first played ac2. u get used to it. just hit the action button and start running. ezio starts jumping automatically where required.edit... there is no jump button per se. its more of an action button that you just hold down and run into your jumps off platforms etc.It seemed like I would do the exact same thing to jump every time, but half the time I'd either sit there or miss where I was clearly jumping.I had the same frustrations with the first Uncharted. What didn't you like about it?Played Assassin's Creed 2 for about a half an hour last night and was ready to throw my controller through the screen.I don't think I'm cut out for platformers.
Hmmm. Maybe that was it. My frustration first came when you had to race your brother to the top of the roof. I'd get up top first, but would just stand there like a doofus trying to get to the next rooftop while he blew by me.i remember the same thing when i first played ac2. u get used to it. just hit the action button and start running. ezio starts jumping automatically where required.edit... there is no jump button per se. its more of an action button that you just hold down and run into your jumps off platforms etc.It seemed like I would do the exact same thing to jump every time, but half the time I'd either sit there or miss where I was clearly jumping.I had the same frustrations with the first Uncharted. What didn't you like about it?Played Assassin's Creed 2 for about a half an hour last night and was ready to throw my controller through the screen.I don't think I'm cut out for platformers.
It could be that Assassins Creed and Uncharted both suck, despite the hundreds of reviews that say otherwise. An alternative hypothesis is that your problems could stem from user error.I guess we'll never know.Hmmm. Maybe that was it. I'm quite certain, and comfortable, in asserting it's the latter. :finger:It could be that Assassins Creed and Uncharted both suck, despite the hundreds of reviews that say otherwise. An alternative hypothesis is that your problems could stem from user error.I guess we'll never know.![]()
yeah its not like you hit the jump button as you get to the edge. its more like you hit the action button to start running, hold it down, and hell automatically jump as you run off the platform. it sounds dumb but it makes more sense in the context of the game.Hmmm.
