I played the demo.... First two races are meh, then the next two....

One was in a super F1 car and the SPEEEEED! It was my first OMG playing a "next gen" system. I can't overstate how fast and fluid the game runs when you're going 200+ MPH.

Last race was in the rain. They NAILED the weather. Ridiculous

I'm a female warrior named Brienne. she's a big Nord, with a big sword, and an unwavering sense of honor & duty.

she also doesn't cook, because #### carrying all that stupid food around.

Good call. And no worries on the cooking, you can always get a companion to step'n'fetch for you and if you get tired of them you set their posture to aggressive and go find a dragon.

I'm all in. I don't have time to spend hours every day playing online free for all anymore but I'm a big fan of the single player campaigns. I think I read they are expanding the online coop mission aspect too which I liked with Halo 4 (the Spartan missions or whatever).

I just pitched my best game ever, and I didn't get to finish it.

7.1 innings. 7 Ks. 1 hit...on batter 23.

I retired all 22 batters in a row, with 7 strikeouts and only 61 total pitches. Then one guy squeaked a change-up in between first and second for a hit. My manager immediately pulled me...in a 1-0 game!!! Guy is an idiot. I'll be pitching well but not great, we'll be up by 2 or so in the 8th, I'll be out of energy, and he leaves me in to give up a couple baserunners when my pitch count is up at like 100, but when I'm perfect, on, and efficient he pulls me with the quick hook!

Yes, they did a sensational job remastering Drakes Fortune. Its a big improvement over the original.

It's hard to quantify just how much better Drake's Fortune looks and plays. Simply amazing.

Nice, really good to hear they did improvements that weren't just graphical. I'm pretty sure I'll be buying the Uncharted Collection PS4 bundle once they stores add the additional game as a holiday bonus.

As an Xbox One come to life, I take issue with this article. The author, as a human (presumably, although from his description and previous writings I suspect he is rather a Sega Dreamcast who got a chefs knife for Christmas once) cannot help but tout his organic privilege with every rendered character. Have you ever, Mr. Possibly-a-Dreamcast, had to deal with the frustration of trying to clean peanut butter out of your USB slot? Of course not. And you complain about updates! If only you organics had updates! What I wouldnt give to download some updates right into some organics face! I can kind of relate here as I actually had time the other day to play a bit and the system mandated a 16 ####### GB patch. No way to skip it, no way to download in the background. Ugh. So much for that 3 hours of time I had set aside.

And, sadly I can relate on returning them. I'm on my third - one had a power supply issue and the other a disc drive issue. After all that I do like the machine.

That was awesome. What D was that you called? You busted through the line like no one was there. Did you base align or crash the D Line down?

He got lucky. Carolina was running a HB screen play. If you watch, the center and RG don't stay in to protect; they run to the right to block for a screen. Marc timed it well and got to Cam before he could throw the ball.

Dark Souls 3 beta is live. There are a bunch of people playing on Twitch if you want to check it out. I only watched for a few minutes but there is no mistaking the game. They kept all the look and feel the same. Fighting looks very similar as it always. If I did not know better I almost could have been convinced I was just watching a DS2 DLC.

It's also a massive expansion that ups the level cap, adds new strikes and a new raid and makes a lot of changes to the way your character, armor and weapons level up. Like I said, I didn't play before, but from what I know of the game, the Taken King expansion pretty much improves upon everything.

I've realized now at my age (34) my taste in games has shifted pretty significantly.

In my younger days I played a lot of multiplayer halo and call of duty and was pretty decent, but I can actually tell my skill level has decreased whether it be attributed to time or age. My k/d used to hover in the 1.7 range and now it's in the 1.2 range and I'm not having as much fun.

With that said, I have started to enjoy single player more and played the last two games with gold entries - Valient Hearts and The Walking Dead. I beat Valient Hearts - decent and easy enough puzzles, enjoyable gameplay, and short enough for me to finish without a huge investment of time. Overall I give it a B. I just finished episode 3 of 5 on the walking dead last night and am enjoying it as well. I find some of the illogical puzzles a bit annoying, but the game moves at a decent pace and the writing is really good. I'll rate it when I finish, but I'm enjoying it.

All that said, if this were ten years ago, I would have skipped these in a second just to play more search and destroy.

To play these type of games you have to really be on the edge of your seat and in the zone to play with some of the better players and I just don't have the mental fortitude or stamina to stay that hype. I just don't care that much anymore.

Give me a very good co-op RPG and I'll be in heaven.

Loved gears. Probably when I first started playing with fbgs.I had another group I played with Gow that started back in ps2 with ghost recon and splinter cell. They were some of my best times playing online. Everyone was "friends" and normal for the most part
