You guys ever get stuck at a particular part in a game and it’s kind of tedious and you’ve had to replay a few times so you dread getting through it so you just don’t play the game? I’m still stuck at the wedding in kingdom come deliverance too. I was enjoying the game so much and I know I just have to get past the part and I’ll have fun again, but I just can’t bear to go through it. I don’t know what it is.
Terrible level, and it feels like it never ends. But it eventually does and you can get back to what you like. But yea, it's almost like a wasted evening of gaming.

Finally got through this Slog only to be met by another quest that was even worse immediately after the wedding, “For Whom The Bell Tolls”. Luckily there a YT guide that gets you through that entire mission in ~3 minutes.
I think this is probably the best/most polished Medieval RPG ever made. Just a masterpiece. I would love to see what these guys could do with a more fantasy (magic) RPG.
Has anyone picked up The Outer Worlds 2?
I played the original Outer Worlds and enjoyed it. It was made by the same team that put together Fallout: New Vegas.
That's what I get for posting without catching up on reading.Has anyone picked up The Outer Worlds 2?

@jwb on last page mentioned he was playing it and liking it.
It is on list of games I will play eventually, although Final Fantasy Tactics which I am yet to start will be ahead of it on the list.
I just started Avowed but I will start Outer Worlds 2 as soon as I'm done with it. Supposed to be a big upgrade on the first one. Looking forward to it.Has anyone picked up The Outer Worlds 2?

Sheesh you needed to upgrade a 3080 for those games? I’ve read that the pc optimization on Borderlands 4 is horrible, part of why I haven’t bought it yet. What did you replace it with?
I’ve heard good things. Plus punching Nazis is always fun.A really fun Xbox game is the latest Indiana Jones game. Production quality is top notch. Might even still be on game pass.
Feels like you're playing through a movie (with a plot better than recent films), and when it ended I was sad.
Almost as if renting your games rather than buying them is a false economyMicrosoft did a big price increase at the beginning of this month for Game Pass. They also eliminated some of the tricks to get free months like using MS Rewards points and such. Started working on the backlog of games I've had for years. Downloaded a bunch, tried some and if it didn't hook me right away deleted it. Will see what I can clear out or finish off before I probably cancel my subscription before much longer as I can't justify spending that much a month when I "might" have time to play every once in a blue moon. When it was cheap or I could get a few free months fairly often I was okay leaving the subscription running but not now. From what I understand the $1 trick has been dead for a while too. Way to kill the golden goose M$FT
That is saying a lot because I consider Ghost of Tshushima a top 5 for me all time.So mad, only played an hour just haven't had time. I've been looking forward to this for so longGhost of yotei was amazing
Its better than the first in every way imaginable. Finished on lethal a few days ago. Looking forward to new game plus

My wife is a huge Ghost fan and loves both games. She thinks Yotei is slightly worse than the Tsushima but still thinks it's phenomenal. I haven't played either so take what I say with a grain of salt but from listening to her talk about the game:That is saying a lot because I consider Ghost of Tshushima a top 5 for me all time.So mad, only played an hour just haven't had time. But... you got to pet the foxes.I didnt last long in Tsushima because the open map just seemed like a checklist of things to do for no real reason. I like when side quests help your character get stronger or give substantial rewards. If I remember correctly, I didn;t get that feeling at all with Tsushima.
In Yotei the weapons you unlock are behind side quests, so there is a feeling of progression attached to some of them. But yeah in general it's basically just a map game with really cool combat.I didnt last long in Tsushima because the open map just seemed like a checklist of things to do for no real reason. I like when side quests help your character get stronger or give substantial rewards. If I remember correctly, I didn;t get that feeling at all with Tsushima.
Hades II (is anyone here playing? I've been waiting to talk about this game forever)
There is a specific armor that gives you huge buffs if you use the right counter weapon for each weapon you're attacked with. It's awesome. My wife is a huge Ghost fan and loves both games. Yotei Pros:
- Tsushima you had to do the main storyline to unlock things like bows, whereas you start with almost everything in Yotei
- It's a true sequel. You get thrown right into the fire with minimal handholding.
- She thinks the coin game is fun
- Fox shrines are more variable
Yotei Cons:
Again, she said the game is phenomenal and if you liked Tsushima, you'll like Yotei but it's ranked just slightly below Tsushima for her.
- Some of the quests feel a little more repetitive that Tsushima
- The combat seems simpler than Tsushima and can be cheesed. In Tsushima you had to use stances correctly to counter a lot of fights/mob types and all stances were used, and even then some of the fights were very difficult. In Yotei, the counter mechanic is using different weapons but a lot of the time this can be cheesed through other abilities/items. She's mentioned there's one weapon she never uses at all.
- She hasn't finished the game yet but feels like it's a fairly predictable storyline. She's 100% positive she knows how it's going to end.
Ok, question. (TLDR, see *below)
I recently learned that Farming Simulator 25 and Cities Skylines 2 hog up a ton of space on your c: drive in the /appdata folder. This sent me down a rabbit hole. My OS hdd is a 112 GB Sata SSD, so it filled up quick when I began playing these games. I moved my OS to a 2 TB nvme drive. But.....soon after I started getting crashes on both CS2 and FS25. The problem is it would also fubar my OS. Wouldn't boot, etc. So, I started this cycle of reinstalling my OS, reinstalling the games, several times. I eventually landed on the decision that there is some kind of issue with either the nvme port or the drive itself. So, I reinstalled my OS on my SSD and went to reinstall the games. I bought FS25 direct from GIANTS software and CS2 on Steam. When I went to reinstall FS25 it said that I exceeded the online activations. So, I emailed customer service and after 3 weeks, they emailed back that they added one more activation. I have reinstalled CS2 from Steam just as many times, if mot more than FS25.
*below
So, my question is, if I buy a game through steam, is there the same limit on activations as if I buy direct from the dev? I 've never had to 'activate' CS2 so I'm guessing the same does not apply.
Speaking of Yotei, it did not get nominated for game of the year. Nominees are:
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Hades II (is anyone here playing? I've been waiting to talk about this game forever)
Hollow Knight: Silksong
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach
Donkey Kong Bananza
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

And this is the only game I have ever platinumed, because it really wasn't you have to find 100 of these widgets.
