Viewing the Indianapolis Colts Offense (1 Viewer)

The Colts were simply awful last season offensively, largely leaning on QBs Curtis Painter and Dan Orlovsky.

Now they have a new head coach in Chuck Pagano and a new OC in Bruce Arians. Along with those changes, they drafted QB Andrew Luck alongside TEs Coby Fleener and Dwayne Allen. Both TEs are considered solid receivers and blockers with possible implications being that the offense will try to follow the 2 TE attacks of last season promoted by teams like New England and Carolina (with Shockey and Olsen).

Everybody knows about QB Andrew Luck but the rest of the team seems to be flying under the radar a bit.

QBs: Andrew Luck. Added Drew Stanton and also drafted Chandler Harnish.

RBs: Donald Brown and Delone Carter seem to be the top 2. They do have some interesting options though behind them (Mewelde Moore, Deji Karim, and Vick Ballard).

WRs: Reggie Wayne, Austin Collie, and Donnie Avery seem to be the consensus Top 3 here. Again though, they have some intriguing talent such as T.Y. Hilton and LaVon Brazill.

TEs: Coby Fleener and Dwayne Allen were both drafted and it seems they'll try some sort of 2 TE focus.

The team seems full of players who could provide value in drafts but where are the value plays in your eyes? Is the picture too muddied at this point regarding some positions (RB, TE) to take a chance on anybody? What about the veteran presences like Reggie Wayne. Can they still be counted on?

The COLTS will struggle on offense this year and my guess is that it will be a 2-4 win season. Luck cannot walk on water and because of this, he will struggle behind one of the worst lines in the NFL. With no running game to speak of, defenses will pin their ears back. The TE's are considered to be solid receivers but blocking is their downfall. As a Stanford Cardinal and Indy Colt follower I will temper my enthusiasm for their produiction and I full y expect Allen will be the superior TE when it is all said an done.

If this were not enough, we are switching to a new defensive scheme and we do NOT have the personel to be effective this year. Losing Garcon and his speed option on the outside will hurt Wayne.

Wayne 70 catches 900 yards and 10 td's

Collie 80 catches 900 yards and 5 td's

Allen and Fleener 60 catches, 900 yards and 8 td's

Brown and Carter 1100 yards and 8 tds with about 500 rec yards

Avery and Hilton will be non factors

Luck will have a good year as he tops 3000 yards and 25+ td's but he will also throw 20+ int's
