Vikings at Lions (1 Viewer)

Hoping the Vikings have not been reading too many press clippings and play with the same purpose they did against the 49ers this week.

I will be watching Loadholt in particular because he has struggled against the Lions pass rushers in recent games but so far has been playing a lot better this season.

3 and out for the Lions with them getting all their yardage via the penalty. Vikings has the 5'2 Winfield lined up against Calvin on the third down, and Stafford threw to a pretty well covered Sheffler. Hmmm...

FG Lions.

Lions pooch kick to the Vikings 30 yard line rather than give Percy another chance. Home fans are getting annoyed.

ADP gets the first Vikings play of the day with a 23 yard run through the middle of the line.

Jerome Simpson with a short reception for the 3rd down conversion. Hoping the Vikings can find him often today.

Lions: "Hey nice WR you got there Minnesota. By the way, we got one of those too, only he's got a cool nickname"

Vikings punt and then the Lions punt it back.

Leshoure showed some quicks on a little screen for a first down but the following series the Vikings sacked Stafford for a big loss.

Plenty of time left for the shoot-out everyone was predicting.

that'd be uncatchable ref. and simpson dives down after pushing off

ADP owners will be happy to know that the game plan is to run him through the middle of the line and he's showing power, speed, and confidence while doing so.

Didn't Suh and Avril used to play on the Lions D-Line? I see some guys with the same name on their jerseys but they sure don't look like the players I've seen the past few seasons.

Harvin is one of the most underated players in the league IMO.
He really shouldn't be. He's basically Wes Welker with actual athletic ability, just not used as much.
Let's see Welker make a run like that when lined up at TB.
I don't know if there is a similar player in the league to Percy. He lined up at tailback and took the hand-off for a nice gain; something few WRs would attempt or do well. Either way, we're on the same page here - Harvin shouldn't be underrated.
