**Vikings at Seahawks** (+3, 42.5) 4:05 (1 Viewer)

Seahawks got boat raced by the Packers, but I think they are a better team than that. Geno was cleared, and they are getting Walker back. They NEED this one bad.

Vikings D is good, but its weakness is the middle of the field, at least since Pace got hurt. I think Walker could come back with a bang, and this could be a sneaky game for Noah Fant. I like Geno in this one if he's truly healthy, as quick release QBs tend to do well against the Vikes pass D.

For the Vikings, I think Seattle has more success against Aaron Jones than the Bears did. I think Jefferson and Addison should both be able to hit some bigger plays, but I think Seattle could stifle Darnold some.

Seahawks-24
Vikings-17

Yes, I'm predicting both the Lions and Vikings to lose, really making the NFC North interesting.

I think JSN has a moonshot game this weekend. And I’m not even sure why. Just seems like a very Minnesota thing to do.

SEA has what, both their starting tackles injured and won't be available? I like GENO MAGIC, but I would never trust him because like Bill Walsh said about Steve DeBerg "He just good enough to get your fired". Which is pretty much Geno Smith in a nutshell.

I'm hearing rain all day. Not sure how heavy however.
Interesting, anyone hearing it’s enough to scare you from starting a WR?
It’s just typical Seattle rain. Doesn’t scare me at all.

“Rain before 4am. Mostly cloudy. Low around 46, with temperatures rising to around 48 overnight. South wind around 12 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.”

Both of Seattle's starting OTs are healthy and playing. Seattle in general is among the healthiest teams in the NFL right now.

Good analysis by Mark Sanchez. I like that they showed how Murph ended up behind JSN because of the pick play.

These teams are surprisingly chippy for not being natural rivals.

Even game so far. Great WRs, resurrected QBs, aggressive defenses and young rising star coaches.

I don't know how the Vikes don't re-sign Darnold.
$40 million is a lot when you have potentially a franchise quarterback on a $4 million deal each year for the next four years.

You can find a lot of Andrew VanGinkel’s and Blake Cashman’s on the free agent market with that $36 million

And potentially not as good as Sam.

They have around $78m in cap space next year. The money is not a problem.

1. Nice win the road. Seems like we never beat Seattle.
2. JJ is starting to look like the best receiver in the league.
3. Van Ginkel is having a monster season.
4. Nice to see the run defense stem the tide. That is the best they have looked without Pace all season.
5. Did not like the end of the first half, or the fourth quarter defense at all. I don’t want to over-simplify, but I really hate when they rush four

13-2, and on to the Packers. Dream season keeps on chugging. Darnold is 7 TD passes away from tying the franchise record.

Excuse me while I check my calendar...

Woooot!!!
And Darnold proceeds to zip it down field to JJ and finds him for a TD!
The more I watch the play the more I come away impressed with Sam. That was a heck of a throw on the run and off balance. There was a safety lurking and if he does not put arm on that throw it’s a INT. That was all Darnold.
He also threw it to the outside shoulder and JJ adjusted perfectly.

Hard to not feel happy for him too. Guy has taken a lot of shiot in his career, some of it warranted, but great story in addition to great play.

So what's The Vikings thought process now?
Pay Sam to stay and let J.J. sit and learn a few years?
Or commit to J.J. and give Sam a thank you card as he leaves the building?

It’s a very interesting question. I would think an early playoff bounce would change things. But if the team went deep into the playoffs… then it moves them to keep him.

I’m not sure what I want. I was really high on the JJ draft pick and excited to see him start this year. Not upset in any way… just stuck in a conundrum of what I’d like to see.

In an ideal world I’d say sign Darnold to a 2 year extension if they made a deep run. But I don’t think QBs want a short payday like that.

Agree,Sam is gonna want more than 2 years
He knows what the bottom feels like
He's going to take full advantage of his situation
