Possible also. Those are the best options. There really are no other intelligent options.Indy is my guess.
Indy is probably game day ready since they played Thursday. Ford field would need a quick cleanup. I don't know how long those things take. They did get sun devil ready fast a few years ago for the displaced charger game though.Possible also. Those are the best options. There really are no other intelligent options.Indy is my guess.
Protest by Minnesota.Do you think it's possible they schedule it in NY?
Protest by both teams.Lambeau is closer and it would give one more game for Favre in Green Bay.
Why not K.C. ???Possible also. Those are the best options. There really are no other intelligent options.Indy is my guess.
It's not a dome. It forces Minnesota to travel to where the Giants already are. It's outside and the game needs to be inside since that is the original setup. Why not K.C. ???Possible also. Those are the best options. There really are no other intelligent options.Indy is my guess.
Indy played in Tennessee Thursday, so I wouldn't see any reason why the field would not be game ready.Indy is probably game day ready since they played Thursday. After the Katrina scheduling fiasco, this is not going to happen.Do you think it's possible they schedule it in NY?
I can't see them giving 2 ####s about it being in a dome or notIt's not a dome. It forces Minnesota to travel to where the Giants already are. You can't but the Vikings can. Giants too if they try and put this game outside in Minnesota. If I'm running the Giants I protest any venue but a dome or NY. Watch and learn.I can't see them giving 2 ####s about it being in a dome or notIt's not a dome. It forces Minnesota to travel to where the Giants already are. I agree with this. Also, not that it should matter, but there's plenty of time to fly in the Giants' warm weather gear and equipment.Good god. Just man up, ship in the Giants cold weather gear and play it at U Minn Gopher Stadium.Minn gets the revenues. The stadium is filled with Vikes fans. No one has to travel anymore. The complaint: "It's too cold." Sorry, did those tough guy millionaires just say it's too cold? Call in Bud Grant for a pep talk then.
Since when do the Giants claim to be the home team? It's the Vikings' decision. The Giants lost any goodwill they had with the Katrina scheduling fiasco. You can't but the Vikings can. Giants too if they try and put this game outside in Minnesota. If I'm running the Giants I protest any venue but a dome or NY. Watch and learn.

What is the weather like NOW in the area? Namely, if planes can land anywhere near the area they will play the game, if Im the Giants please give me an outdoor setting. Favre hurting, a team that has had a tough season but has had a rebirth with a new coach - a late cold game is something that the Giants should be more used to so long as they can get their cold weather equipment to town. It may hurt the ability for Minn to pass so the Giants can focus on stopping the run. Why would the Giants want to play in a dome if they can get their gear into town? You can't but the Vikings can. Giants too if they try and put this game outside in Minnesota. If I'm running the Giants I protest any venue but a dome or NY. Watch and learn.
If the Vikings make the decision, then it could be outside. However, Favre will tell them no. If it's the NFL offices making the decision, it will be in a dome.Since when do the Giants claim to be the home team? This makes perfect sense...coming from a Cowboy fan.I agree with this. Also, not that it should matter, but there's plenty of time to fly in the Giants' warm weather gear and equipment.Good god. Wouldn't play outside be more of an advantage for the Giants than the Vikings since the Vikings are a dome team? Not sure the Vikings want the game outside.Detroit or Indy makes the most senseGood god. Just man up, ship in the Giants cold weather gear and play it at U Minn Gopher Stadium.Minn gets the revenues.
