Q: You pulled Brad Johnson early yesterday. Have you made a determination on his status?A: You know what? I have not. I have not decided on that. I have a few different options, and I think the biggest thing that you ask as we go, is who is going to give us the best chance to win in the fourth quarter? We'll just look at that, and see who we feel like that is. But as of right now, no, I haven't done that.Q: How much does Bollinger's injury affect the starting QB situation?A: It's a factor.Q: Would you consider Tarvaris Jackson as the starter?A: I think you'd consider everybody. You just need to see where you are at and what you think you can accomplish here. These next four games are obviously important for the Minnesota Vikings. But I'm not necessarily looking to cast my gaze to the future, and nor would a quarterback change mean how I look at the next four games is any different.Q: Will you observe this situation during the week of practice, or will you have a decision on who it's going to be by the first practice of the week?A: You know I think it will be a little bit different anyway this week. I'm not sure that Brooks (Bollinger) is really comfortable enough where he's going to be able to practice a whole heck of a lot to start with so...I think that's less important than guys getting reps where they are at.Q: So does that mean you may give more work to Tarvaris with the first team?A: I think that the first team thing, there's so many guys that rotate in. There are times where he'll work with those guys in practice. There are times that he's running the scout team. That will all be within that decision-making process, and then as we go through the week we'll see.Q: Do you expect Bollinger to be able to do much?A: You know everybody has different pain levels. I don't know where he'll come from that injection that he had today, if that settles it down and quiets it down. He just has to be able to function at a high level.Q: So really you just have to wait until Wednesday to see where he's at on that?A: I think you have to wait as you go through the week. I don't know Wednesday is the drop dead date or anything like that.Q: Are any of the quarterbacks ruled out to start?A: I don't think anybody is ruled out.
