Vikings Wednesday injury report, WR Williamson questionable

Brad Childress revealed during his news conference today that receivers Troy Williamson (shoulder) and Marcus Robinson (knee) will be listed as questionable on the injury report. Childress also said right guard Artis Hicks will be questionable. So what’s wrong with Hicks? Good question.
Childress would not reveal Hicks’ problem, despite the fact the Vikings are obligated to issue an injury report that lists whether Hicks’ practiced today and what’s wrong with him. Childress said he does not like reading about injuries in the newspaper.
It’s an interesting stance to take considering the NFL is all about injuries and coaches who have attempted to get cute with the injury report usually get a call from the league office. Keep in mind, the folks on Park Avenue don’t care if you’re 2-0 or 0-2.
