Vince Young Status... (1 Viewer)

I couldn't find any updated info on the injury. I know he had an MRI, but not sure what the outcome was. Any chance he plays this week, or will he be out with a case of "Madden-itis"?

any info is appreciated.

Update: He still sucks. j/k Last I saw is the MRI was less severe than thought and he is day to day. So if you have to count on him, you will likely be sweating it right up until gametime.

I thought he looked good enough to return to the game when I saw him, I didnt see any kind of limp or anything, the titans said his return was probable so I guess he was good enough to return but they stuck with the hot hand

That is the first I am hearing anything like this. I didn't see the game, but Collins stats certainly weren't great, and the team lost the game. I have to think if Young is healthy he is back in the starting lineup.

Collins actually looked pretty good in the game and Scaife dropped one or two, but they drove the ball a tad better when Collins came in.

After he underwent an MRI on Monday, the Titans are calling Vince Young's quadriceps injury a "strain" and say he's day-to-day.(Updated 10/15/2007) IMPACT "There is no potential surgery required," coach Jeff Fisher said Monday. "He has a quad strain and he is going to have to work through it. He has been a quick healer." Fisher added that Young wouldn't be able to practice if the team held workouts on Monday, but is hopeful V.Y. can play at Houston.

Vince Young-QB-Titans Oct. 17 - 10:43 am et

Coach Jeff Fisher said Tuesday that Vince Young (quadriceps) may not be able to practice this week, but "still would not rule him out" for Week 7.

"I saw him (Tuesday), he got treatment twice and he is feeling better and he'll be day-to-day as I said,'' Fisher said. "Perhaps he will not practice Thursday, maybe even Friday. But I still would not rule him out of the game. He is a quick healer and we'll just have to take it day by day." Fisher also called Young's injury a "significant strain," so there's seemingly a strong chance that Kerry Collins will get the start.

I think Collins will be the starter this week, quads can be tricky and need a lot to completely heal or you will just reinjure it

as a vy owner i am thinking of just picking up crappy alex smith or someone else like rattay, whats the difference? both likley to get 0s

Day to Day- he stinks and should not be on anybodys roster. If your relying on V. Y. you got problems. Also I wish they would stop playing his commercial, it reminds me of the scene in Rocky 2 when the Rock was trying to make a commercial but was too stupid and punch drunk to put together a sentence. Just keep rolling he's got to say something coherent!
