Hope everyone is having a happy holiday weekend. Judging by the volume of email and Twitter messages this week, lots of you are playing for fake football titles this week. Best of luck to everyone today and thanks to all who have been posted and visited in the Forum this season. We hope to see everyone around throughout the winter and spring as we debate how the coaching changes, free agent movement, and rookies affect things for 2011.
I'm keeping this brief this morning, but will have any breaking news and lineup changes up as usual through game time.
Detroit
Louis Delmas looks unlikely to play with a concussion (CC Brown should replace him and have good value), but Cliff Avril, Lawrence Jackson, Turk McBride and Amari Spievey are all probable.
Miami
Karlos Dansby didn't practice all week and isn't likely to play. Tim Dobbins is a risky play v DET, but has LB3+ upside.
Denver
Brian Dawkins, Darcel McBath and David Bruton are all questionable. Dawkins says he'll play this weekend, but there may be lots of rotation at both safety positions. It's probably best to avoid the situation.
Indianapolis
Kelvin Hayden and Clint Session won't play today.
Oakland
Richard Seymour hasn't practiced this week with a hamstring injury. He's questionable and being called a GTD. He's probably much less than 50-50 to play.
New England
The Patriots have a few front seven players down today -- Deaderick, Wright, Cunningham and Pryor. James Sanders hasn't been downgraded, but has the flu. If he's inactive, it's good news for Patrick Chung, who has been getting more snaps over the past two weeks but still leaving in certain packages.
San Diego
Brandon Siler starts for Stephen Cooper today and should be a LB3+ start. Steve Gregory and Paul Oliver rotated last week.
St. Louis
Chris Long has been limited by a thigh injury, but is expected to play. The SF matchup is strong enough to risk him if you're looking for an upside play today.
Seattle
Will Herring is questionable. The Seahawks don't use much nickel, but it's likely that David Hawthorne would pick up a few more snaps if Herring is inactive.
Washington
Reed Doughty is out with a concussion. Kevin Barnes is expected to replace him. Kareem Moore didn't practice all week with a knee problem and is questionable. Macho Harris would likely replace him. Barnes had five solos last week and is a strong upside play. Rob Jackson replaces Brian Orakpo.
Jacksonville
Justin Durant is again out, giving Kirk Morrison every-down duties. Courtney Greene is expected back.
