Wait a minute, I thought the Patriots didn't care about records? (1 Viewer)

Going undefeated? Didn't care

Manning's TD Record? Didn't care

Rice's TD Record? Didn't care

Injuries in the last 2 games...could happen...who hopes they do?

A lot of NFL Fans will raise their hands.

If the Pats starters don't play today they will have gone 4 weeks without a game by the time of the divisional round.

Stay classy.and there's a thread just for you...
You do not see me wishing them injuries.Look at what happened to TO and FWP this week.
who hopes they do? In most languages, you'd rightly interpret that as a suggestion that you HOPE they do. Which, if you're not aware, is much the same as wishing they do. HTH

And Pats fans are experts at interpreting slights. Tread lightly here, friend.

I am not an English expert, actually not an expert in anything really, but I do know when you end a sentence with a question mark (?) it means you are asking a question, not a statement.

Don't care about records?

Really. 1st and Goal at the 1 after a penalty. Brady TD to Moss.

Once again, they don't care about the records.

Yeah. How stupid are the Patriots to throw to a WR who was covered by one defender, and who is almost impossible to stop in such situations (when he feels like playing). That aside, I think most people know that, if Moss breaks Rice's record, it won't mean much, since Rice did it in 12 games.

My bad... I guess a question looking for people hoping for injuries seems a bit off the mark for a football site. Have at your poorly disquised indignation at the Patriots playing football... but you could move it to the pats #####ing thread as earlier suggested.

Colts had just as little to play for and Manning went out there and torched Houston.

After Manning's record year a couple years ago and the Colts sitting people and then dumping in the playoffs, I don't see why it is a big deal for teams to want to keep their timing going. Could they get hurt and lose a playoff game? Sure but it has been shown too much off time is bad and teams can lose too.

Manning left the game early and how much will he play next week? Maybe Brady will do the same. Let's see.Nice TD run by Maroney, saw him turn around just before scoring to see if Brady wanted him to fall down. Then he could throw another 1 yard TD to Moss.

brady yelling at maroney to take a dive at the 1 on that run....was like WTH are you doing dont you know who i am and what we are trying to do here.

I've seen easy fishing before, but here even those crusty New England clams are leaping right into the boat! :lmao:

You're an idiot for starting this thread. Everyone one of your sentences is idiotic and untrue. Not once did they say anything about these records. They just said they cared about the next game because that is what they concentrated on. Shut the blank up. You whiney tool!

The best thing about satire is watching the target of the joke get mad about it because they take it seriously. :goodposting:

Name-calling doesn't go over so well here at FBG's. Calm it down or I guarantee you'll get a time out from the mods.

Hey LISTEN. The point is, no other team would still have their guys out there right now. Not Dallas, GB, Indy, Jax, etc.........

Of course. That's because they are going for the records. Isn't that obvious? We need a thread stating that water is wet next.

belichek is an idiot

nothing really all that good can happen- yet so much bad can happen - and he's running moss on fly patterns

that's just plain dumb

Unless Brady breaks the TD record this week, it is diminished if he does it next week. Manning played 1 series in week 17 in 2004.

For such an idiotic post, it has sure drawn a lot of attention.

Patriot Fans, Players and Coaches should just admit they want to go undefeated and break the records. It is OK to admit it, you are not fooling anyone.

There is 7 minutes left in the 4th quarter, the Patriots are up by 21 points. Why would you want your Franchise on the field?

Just a question, don't blowup my house or anything.

Why is it so important to you that they admit it? Also, as has already been asked in this thread, please provide us a link showing how the relevant NE people said that they don't care. TIA.

The answer is obvious.

It doesn't really bother me. But it is fun to see how it gets the New England folks worked up.
