Wallets-what do you guys carry? (1 Viewer)

I have a Ridge. Had it from when they first came out. It's good. For those guys that make $15 an hour,is it worth it good?
Was for me and I'm cheap -not on quality which makes ti worth the 100+ you will spend on it.

It's not the easiest thing to get used to. You will either like it or hate it.
Wow. I had no idea they were up to $100 now. I love mine and have had it since it was a Kickstarter project but not sure I would spend $100 on it.
Knockoffs are $35 to $50.

I always carry lots of cash (poker player) so I need a wallet. I have a lot of cards I carry too. 4 credit cards, 1 debit card, insurance, HSA card, AAA card, business cards.

Got mine last black friday sale. I really love it. You can't beat the space saving factor.

That said, I'm still getting used to it. I've developed a system where I keep my 2 most frequently used cards at the front and back for easy access. But I still look like a clown fumbling around with it if I need to pull a card from the middle out in a hurry.

All in all, still my favorite wallet ever.

Jeeez.

If you buying a slim wallet for $100, you are an ideal American consumer

Upsized a year ago from driver’s license + cc to a money clip with those two, plus med ins and Costco card.

Feels a little excessive, to be honest, but I got tired of waiting for my wife to fumble for her card when buying in bulk. As a bonus, the Costco card protects the credit card from being scratched by the clip.
Couldn’t maintain this much clutter - back to cc and dl, minus the clip.

When not at work, I carry my phone about a quarter of the time, but considering ditching it as well.

Thinking iWatch + Apple Pay, license +/- keys, if I’m driving. I guess a lockbox for my vehicle + smart key at home could eliminate the latter.

I got a knockoff type. https://rossmwallet.com/collections/cash-strap I like it a lot, figure the ridge might be worth a bit more.

90% of the time just use the card holder on the back of my phone with one card and my license.

Bought it when it first came out. $35, $40? American consumers are shipping refrigerated pet foods to their house.
Welcome to America,

Meh, few things I use more often and every day than my wallet, so I don't mind paying up for it. I can guarantee anyone scoffing at the idea of consumerism and spending $100 on a wallet is spending a lot more money on a lot stupider stuff that they use a lot less often. We all do it.

Heck, seems like most of the people in this thread are just giving away thousands of dollars every year by not maximizing CC reward categories, which would pay for even the fanciest wallet 10x over.
