Hi Jeff,

12 team PPR (IDP) Dynasty League with the following offensive scoring: Rushing and Rec YDS 1 pt. every 10, Rushing and Rec TDs are 6 pts, 2pt conversions are 2 pts, Receptions 1 pt for each, Fumbles -3, PR & KR Yds are 1 every 30 yds, PR & KR Tds are 6 pts. We start 2 RB, 3 WR.

Of my current roster, here are my RBs: A. Peterson (MN), S. Slaton, D. Ware, R. Mendenhall. My WR are: Desean Jackson, K. Burton, E. Bennett, Josh Morgan, Devin Thomas, and Malcom Kelly. My TE is Z. Miller.

I was offered the following deal, and would appreciate your input:

I give pick 1.01 and get picks 1.06 and 2.06. I currently have picks 1.01, 1.03, 1.05, and 1.11 in the first, and 2.01 and 2.12 in the second.

The 1.01 is worth a lot more than 1.06 and 2.06. I really do not think it is remotely close.

Greene or McCoy ... I LOVE Nicks' future, but RBs are harder to come by in non-PPR.

Greene or McCoy ... I LOVE Nicks' future, but RBs are harder to come by in non-PPR.

If Crabtree is still there would you take him over either Greene or McCoy. Looking over the other 2 teams ahead of me in the draft it looks like they would be drafting RB's & I know the other owner with the 1.2 & 1.4 is going to pick 2 of either Wells, Brown or Greene so Crabtree might be there at 1.5.

Yes, I would consider Crabtree. He should be a very good receiver. I think I would take him over McCoy and Greene.

I would take the RB you think will score the best. I would say Wells or Jones. But, I would try to get a handcuff.

I do not like the offer to you at all. But, I think you are asking too much on the flip side. Most have both QBs and both WRs (Wayne and Jennings) very close. I would not move either McNabb or Wayne unless I got a stud at the position back. Evans, Ginn, and a 2nd do not qualify.

I am thinking Crabtree will be there at #1.06 since he is telling me he is drafting Moreno at 1.1, McCoy at 1.3 & Green at 1.04 with the team drafting 1.02 taking either Brown or Wells and the team at 1.05 will take whichever RB is left on the Board since he only has 2 good RB's but has Edwards, R. Moss, Jennings, & R. White as his WR's.

He just sent me another that would be his 1.06 and his 2rd pick next year this should be somewhere in the 6-9 range for my 1.08 and my first next year would you do that. I really do not like giving up picks for the next year since I do not know where I am going to finish I would bet that I would be in the 9-12 pick.

I would take Royal over Crabtree so there is no way I give up him and a pick. We know that Royal can play. He is worth more than the picks.

He just sent me another that would be his 1.06 and his 2rd pick next year this should be somewhere in the 6-9 range for my 1.08 and my first next year would you do that. I really do not like giving up picks for the next year since I do not know where I am going to finish I would bet that I would be in the 9-12 pick.

With your QBs, I do not see why you need Palmer at this time, especially with only 20 player rosters. I think I would try either Parker and 1.12 for MB3 or Russell and 1.12 for Schaub (if you thought you needed/wanted another QB). The other options would be to package 1.12 and FJax to Lynch owner. I think I would pass. I just do not feel as though the assets you are getting would help you week to week. Have you considered giving Big Ben instead of the pick swaps? It would leave you with Rodgers and Palmer. And, you could get a rookie WR at 1.12.Good luck and have a good one.

When I took Greg Jennings over Randy Moss in the 2nd I made the decision to go young to build a good team for the future. I ended up picking Crabtree, McCoy, Maclin when my leaguemates were drafting productive veterans so my team for THIS year is not looking terribly competitively. I know I made the choice to go young and I have to live with it but my impatient FF soul is trying to get me to make a move for a productive RB for this year so I can make a push for the playoffs. I could be ok starting Crabtree as my 4th WR THIS year and maybe have a competitive year but looking at my RBs it's tough to have Benson as my 2nd RB who I have to start every week.

I tried moving Marshall for a RB but my leaguemates consider his value so low with all of his uncertainty that I have been turned down for every offer I present involving Marshall.

I have one owner who would possibly consider McCoy/Maclin for Chris Wells which makes be happy because I don't lose any starters and potentially gain one who is still a rookie.

I like your team. At this point, I would keep your young WRs. Their values will only go up. The one thing I might do is nose around Muhammad, Driver, Hines Ward, etc to see if you can get a proven bench/flex player. You have a strong team. The only spot I see you could use is one or two veteran WRs to hold you for a year while your youngsters develop. You are in great shape. As the season progresses, I would hit the waiver wire for players with upside. With such a young team, I would evaluate all trades/waiver pickups on what you think the 2010 value will be. This is with the exception of the one or two vet WRs.

Other things to think about. I might look to see if I could get Josh Morgan or James Jones cheaply to pair with Crabtree and Jordy Nelson. Would be nice to hold the pair of young WRs.I would hold Garcon with the press he is getting.

You did a good job on the draft so now I would just try to build young depth. The team will be much better in 2010 than 2009.

There are a few ways to go with this. You could start with Cotch and Cutler for one of the QBs. If he wants a RB, I owuld think you would be good with Cutler/Gore for QB/Portis or Westbrook. You are very strong at RB and WR so a 2 for 2 deal makes sense if he does not like the Cotch/Cutler deal. You may even think of making it Cutler/Cotch/Willis for a QB. This would not impact your team at all, but would upgrade starters. If the other owner is good with this deal, I would try to "choose" who you get back as throw ins. Gage and Mewelde are who I would want. No one likes either much, but could be decent.

Add in McCoy and Nicks and I think I would offer a next year's first for a pick to get one of these five. Since you have such good starters, I would look at who might be worth most in a year. I am thinking these players plus Harvin or McNabb (in case you can sell high mid-season) would be decent choices for your 2nd rounder. Back to the first round pick, I would even consider trading back a couple of spots if you got a good offer. If not, I might go with one of the RBs. The upside is much higher in non-ppr. I do think Crabtree will be good. Just see him as having Plaxico upside, not Calvin Johnson. If you are good with that upside, then take Crabtree. He should be good for a long time.

I do not see anything off hand. Is the other owner interested in Addai to pair with DBrown? Wonder if Crabtree and Addai would get close to Andre Johnson ....The only other thing I see is maybe you could get McFadden for Addai. If you are to move Stewart in a deal for Brown, I would ask for Green or Avery in addition to Brown.

Last year we implemented a new kind of free agent feature that we call "player movement". I wanted your opinion on it to see if there was anything we can tweak or add to this to make it any better. Last year people were kind of gun shy to participate but i think more owners will give it a go this time around. Here is how it works:

August 15th we announce our 10 keepers. These keepers get split into two categories called Restricted and Unrestricted based on scoring. Top 5 scorers Restricted bottom 5 scorers Unrestricted.

The compensation to acquire a restricted player is a 1st round rookie pick and a 1st round regular pick.

The compensation for an Unrestricted player is a 2nd round rookie pick and a 2nd round regular pick.

Owners have the right to refuse giving up a Restricted player by giving the requesting owner their 1st round regular pick.

A week later we declare 3 players. Owners must have at least one of each category. Before our annual rookie draft we start the "player movement".

Starting with the owner with the worst record from the previous year each owner will be given the opportunity to acquire a single player from another teams designated players. Owners that did not finish in the money the previous year get two chances to acquire players while owners finishing in the money get one.

I am trying to think through this .... please let me know if I have this right ...Each team keeps ten players. Teams can "steal" each others' players. If a team steals your player, you get a 1st round rookie and veteran pick if it is a player not in the top five players kept for your team? Why do you get more reimbursement if it is one of five worst keepers than five best? Just trying to understand ...On the player movement, are the players allowed to be "taken" limited to the three you choose? If so, do the teams' losing a player get another in return? If nothing, I would think maybe you could make it where the bad teams get to swap keepers .. this at least gives the teams losing players something. I apologize if I have not understood this correctly.

Thinking about the trades, it seems few players "exposed" would be worth the 1st round picks. I could see several worth the 2nd rounders. But, if you choose who could be taken, you would choose those overvalued or last on the list. To me, the easiest ways to increase trades would be either to lower compensation or allow more players to be exposed. The more players available, the more worth the price needed to acquire. Also,
