I just received an email lockout status and cannot get in as it informs me the league has no record of my email. He's gone in and deleted it.The more I see and read, Allan is just as guilty.

I said this several pages ago, Allan is JUST as guilty, if he really is a different person. And I still think they are one and the same. I've got proof that both emails were used in of my leagues by the same team/owner. And there were no "co-owners" in this league.

I wasn't sure but at this point I am in agreement. Either way they're the same to me, as far as taking whatever form of retribution can be had

Well congrats, you must be more mature/stronger than I was at the time I started. I was 21 when I started running the leagues 3 years ago and went from a little bit of money I had to the temptation of having 15K at my fingertips at the same time I was introduced to poker. Should I have not done it? Obviously. Do I wish I hadn't done it? Obviously. But that's not the argument anymore. Point is I'm still sticking through my mistake and paying people back and have got out off the FF world and poker world altogether, every last team I own/commish.

This is an amazing post. The self-justification this guy uses really makes me want to throw up. Hey buddy, you didn't make a mistake. You deliberately chose to steal money from other people. Immaturity or "weakness" is not an excuse for stealing thousands of dollars. Gambling isn't either. You ought to be paying the people you stole from back at THEIR terms, not yours (meaning that your income should be garnished, and they should be paid back with interest, however long that takes.) Also, you should serve some time in jail for your crime, and it should be a lifetime stain on your record.

They did this for me in a similar situation without questions asked, no charge. It's essentially a duplicate of the league with all the current info and settings and YOU would have access to it. I held off from this, as I was willing to see how it played out. i had enough contact with Allan last spring and early summer to know if he's not in on it, he surely could and should be alot more forthcoming as he recruited myself and others for Aquil's leagues, and knows him quite well.

I just went back and looked, and actually I had two teams that used the 2 different emails in that league. But both guys spoke the EXACT same, and now almost 4 years later when I went back and looked at the transaction report, more than half of "Kremenulls" trades were with Alan's team. So I'd be willing to bet spent several years having 2 teams in a league, trying to trade to make one team better. What a POS. Digging further, when these 2 teams played each other, the team that had the better record had its best lineup, and the team that had more losses, started a player that was out and left a RB on the bench that scored 20+. Then when these 2 teams played again in week 12, AGAIN the better team that had a chance for the playoffs had his best lineup, and the lesser team started another RB that was questionable and got zero points with better options on the bench. He also played lesser players at QB and TE too. Wow, I wish I had looked at this 4 years ago.

Again, I agree. The more I read of other leagues and the coincidences and trading between the 2 is just a small part of it. I hear ya both, and feel for you. And yea, he really should be addressing this, at the least.Just look at it this way: If it's his friend, he could be in a very tough spot. I once had a friend who got into some drug trouble, and ended up screwing our bowling team out of prize money. I was the only guy on the team who was his actual friend - the other guys wanted to hang him. I was mad, for sure (after all, I was out a few hundred, which was a big deal to a 22 y/o JWB - buys a lot of beer.) But in the end, I wasn't joining any witch hunt - he was my friend who fell down. He got back up a few years later, etc... that's not important. What is important is you guys are passing a sticky point here. You're essentially saying this guy is guilty, without really any hard proof. Someone already called for another Facebook page/etc. I think that's a bit extreme. The anger of losing money is clouding everything.

As far as co-commish, it could be meaningless. I am co-commish of BBIII. It's a meaningless title that says I help Steve in the case of disputes. And that's all the power I have (no passwords, no money/etc). So again, I can see where that point is being driven too hard. Co-commish might mean nothing.

The guy who you paypaled money to? Guilty, without question. Do your worst. The other guy (if he even exists)... maybe. Maybe not. You may never really know for sure.

leagues will be operating going forward, with or without me as a participant

and without me as commissioner.

victors are awarded according to what I've already laid out. I've run many of

these leagues for 2, 3, and 4 years. Now, all of a sudden I employ a scheme to

swindle the participants? Believe it or not, I have personal friends who I've

known for years in these leagues. And to make it perfectly clear, they have

nothing to do with how this situation has gotten to this point.

If many of you decide that you want to be rational, patient, and cooperative,

My reply to this --Aquil, even if we do continue with Pres II, you won't be part of it. I've saved off all the rosters, draft pick nfo, scoring setups, rules, everything. Also, by obeying the law we're coming for you by any means that are legal and there will be justice. You only have $125 of my money, but that's not the point. What you should have said was that I will get the money by whatever means you have and then pay that source back, not make these leagues wait on your sorry ### to pay them.

they cheated in my league in 2007, no doubt about it. The trades weren't right, but even worse was when they played each other. The better team that had a chance for the playoffs always made the right/obvious starts, the lesser team would tank. Both guys should never be welcome in anyone's leagues.

Second off, how are you the victim in all this? You accepted a huge responsibility and you failed. And you failed not because of hardship, because of poor decision making. You are not a victim, so stop acting like one. You're infuriating us even more.

Regarding you, considering there is nobody in the leagues who actually paid you money, I am willing to accept your stance on this situation and consider you do not have the money. Please understand that all these people who have met online have to assume you and Aquil are friends, which is why we had to assume you're involved. I do not have any problems with you but am also a tad skeptical. The steps Aquil makes to show us what happened and how it's going to be corrected will help all of us, yourself included.

As it stands, Aquil has done nothing to show us he did not steal our money. Aquil, stop acting like our local politician feeding us lies and deflecting the issue at hand and give us RESULTS, PROOF, and A PLAN, not cries for sympathy. You're not getting it from any of us considering the way you handled this situation.

Email response from our league....Giving Allan the benefit of the doubt but considering the catching up I did here, I think he's guilty too now. Considering now Aquil is deleting evidence of the league, he's more full of it. He's worried about covering himself up. I'll get MFL league involved and see if they can reestablish the leagues.

What everyone may want to do is locate receipts of their paypal payments to him, or their cleared checks.

He's trying to delete evidence of the sites. EVERYONE INVOLVED, SAVE AND ARCHIVE ANY PREVIOUS EMAILS YOU HAD FROM THE LEAGUE, particularly Draggin (Aquil). He cannot delete all evidence of these leagues running. It's just making him look even more guilty, and this thread will make great reading for Aquil's HR department Monday morning

We'll want to have those in order to show that he promised payouts to the league participants.

First off, I am new here and not owed any money by either of these two guys. I wish you guys the best. I've been in leagues since 2006 with both Allan and Aquil (Draggin.) There was a time when another guy and I thought they were the same guy. This was based on lopsided deals and just the way they talked on the boards. This was probably 3 years ago. As time went on, I stopped believing they were the same dude. I've had numerous dealings with both. I am in a very high stakes ($500) dynasty league with Allan. He has always been active whether in the offseason or during the season and is a very intelligent dynasty owner. Strangely enough, he hasn't checked into the big league in 44 days. Bad team though. I stopped dealing with him this year because he just kept sending me the same crappy offers over and over. Then when I declined, he'd say something like "fine, I think my "guy" is about to explode." He'd always value the guys he wanted to dump more. This was funny to me. I told him to no longer correspond with me in any way. Aquil is much different from activity standpoint. He has made trades but is much quieter. They have co-owned a team in a high stakes ($250) league for the past 2 years. The team is in relative shambles since they value players so differently. Half of the time they have disagreements on the lineup. Bottom line. I don't think Allan is complicit in this to the point of actually stealing money. I DO think he needs to chime in and explain himself to you guys. He tried to recruit me hard for these leagues and luckily I declined. To me, he vouched for Aquil and owes and explanation.

So...I can't be certain, but after reviewing a number of messages and posts by Aquil/Allan, I'm pretty sure that they're the same person. The giveaway for me is that their writing syntax is very similar. Here's Aquil's original message to the league informing us that we wouldn't be getting our money:

But I have some not so good news to pass along. Due to a personal financial

crisis, the funds for payouts are not available at this time for disbursement.

The funds have been garnished along with funds from my other personal bank

I take full responsibility for my actions in this matter and with regards to the

eventual disbursement of the funds for the deserved participants/winners in

these leagues that I have established. It may take up to a few months to pay

all the funds out, and your cooperation is requested.

I have six leagues to pay out, and they will be paid out in the order of longest

tenure, with FOG I and II at the top of the list.

Next, will be PS I, II, III, and IV, in that order.

Two things are notable here. The first is the highly formal, apologetic tone. We'll come back to that later. In terms of syntax, the thing that jumps out at me is the frequent use of commas to break up sentences. For example:

caused me to close ranks for awhile here in all leagues. The leagues will be

shut down for a period until all parties are paid out. We have a long time

before the 2011 season begins, and a lot of stuff has to be corrected by me. I

stand by my commitment as I have mentioned, and I cannot be concerned about

others' prior experiences and their outcomes so as to automatically assume that

this is a similar situation with similar results.

To all, continue to keep faith (in whatever or whomever it is you believe in),

work hard, stay focused, and with specifics to these leagues, remain a

participant. Since you all are already vested, it only makes sense as the

leagues will be operating going forward, with or without me as a participant and

without me as commissioner.

I'd like to thank those who have continued to give their support (and not

aligned themselves with the 'mob'), and my updates will be coming as the victors

are awarded according to what I've already laid out. I've run many of these

leagues for 2, 3, and 4 years. Now, all of a sudden I employ a scheme to

swindle the participants? Believe it or not, I have personal friends who I've

known for years in these leagues. And to make it perfectly clear, they have

nothing to do with how this situation has gotten to this point.

If many of you decide that you want to be rational, patient, and cooperative,

then we can continue dialogue as I have all email lists and other contact info.

But I will not be responding to each and every response here, as nothing has

changed nor will change as regards to my scheduled plan. Those at the top of

the list have been informed of the schedule, and a shortened email list of the

victors will be assimilated to keep them abreast of the paid out awards and when

they can expect theirs. Lastly, as I've stressed before, cooperation nets

compensation.

From what I saw, both defenses played very well. But I see two pretty clear distinctions here that prompt me to say that the Ravens simply have the better team......at least right now.

First, although both defenses can be dominant, the front 7 is where there is quite a bit of separation, with a huge edge to the Ravens. And as good as the secondary of the Jets can potentially be, critical games are usually won inthe trenches. The Ravens have the 3 best players out of the entire 14 (both front 7s), by a wide margin. Ngata, Suggs, and Lewis are wily, talented, players who step up big when the lights are brightest. Ngata simply destroyed the Jets' LG on that key sack of Sanchez in the 4th. Why did the Jets choose to single him with a pretty pedestrian o-lineman in such a critical juncture, maybe the answer is because of T-Sizzle (Suggs). As he was giving Ferguson and others fits all evening. But I have a feeling that young Sanchez should have changed protections on that play. Which leads me to my next point.

The other big difference is that Flacco is far-and-away much better than Sanchez. And I don't see the gap closing anytime soon as I can see Flacco taking a significant step up as the season progresses. This was a very tough test (and environment) for him to come into and sure, he didn't playblights out, but considering the opponent and situation (road opener on MNF), I thought he played very solid, was aggressive and pretty accurate, and most importantly, poised under pressure. Sanchez holds the key to the Jets success this year and he could stand to take some notes from the QB who was on the other sidelines last night.

Final verdict is that the Ravens made plays when they needed to while the Jets did not. And forth record, the Chiefs-Chargers game was much better to watch from an unbiased perspective.....as I couldn't care any less about either of the 4 teams.

This is suspicious for a few reasons:

1. The writing style in the messages from "Allan" is very similar to the writing style in the formal messages from Aquil.

2. The tone of the messages is very similar. Very formal and professional. Not a hint of genuine emotion or outrage.

3. The messages from Allan encourage us to cooperate and "give Aquil some time to come through with his promise."

My hunch is that they're the same person. I could be wrong, but their writing styles appear to be very similar and Allan hasn't exactly been forthcoming about this situation. If the scumbag is reading this thread (and he almost certainly is), he'll make active efforts to cover these similarities now that they've been brought to his attention. That's okay because we have plenty of e-mail records from both Aquil and "Allan." He has already made far too many mistakes and it's ironic that in his attempts to ease our concerns with his messages, he provided further evidence for skepticism.

I just received an email lockout status and cannot get in as it informs me the league has no record of my email. He's gone in and deleted it.The more I see and read, Allan is just as guilty.

Before it's too late, you guys need to do the following:Contact MFL and have them create a mirror page of the league. This way, if Aquil starts to delete everything, you still have a record of it. They did this for me in a similar situation without questions asked, no charge. It's essentially a duplicate of the league with all the current info and settings and YOU would have access to it. You could also make it public if you desire.

Seems it maybe too late, but you're right.

I hope others from the other 5 leagues got the entry fee/payout information that I suggested. I posted that info for FOG 1 in this thread.

When I first joined the BB4 and Pres, "Allan" would hit me up with ridiculous trade offers and the grammar/verbage in the emails were so similar to the ones I would get from Aquil that I sometimes would forget which one I was conversing with. I'll also be sure to hit up a couple players in another dynasty Allan is in to inform them incase they aren't caught up. Just one of the places our money was spent, on his buy in for that league.

I see some of his signature players on there too. Knox. Schilens. Beanie. Flacco. Meachem.

5 players who I believe will rise a great deal in value over the course of this season, some could become SELL HIGH candidates, others could become core dynasty keepers....

1. Johnny Knox.....I expect the Martz system to make at least 2 WRs look very good this season, Knox being one of them.

2. C.J. Spiller.....This time next season, could be a Top 5 pick........that's overall.

3. Robert Meachem......The best perimeter talent on the team could really shine this year

4. Matt Stafford......Looks to step his game up big-time in 2010, vaulting ahead of several FBG favorites like the other Matt in Stafford's old stomping grounds

5. Ahmad Bradshaw.....Will get plenty of opportunities this season, and he has always taken advantage of them to-date

Just a brief list for consideration/debate, and I'm assuming that these guys are pretty undervalued in most leagues, whether PPR or non-PPR.

If you are willing to take a slight risk, then yes, I'd do it. For me, it's between him and Lance Long in a few leagues, so I will probably play Long in most of them and Schilens in one. Oh, BTW, I'm very high on Schilens. If his foot is OK and good enough for him to get 2/3 of the snaps, I expect a good game. The injury is my only concern, as once he is healthy (by Week 11 or 12), all systems go.

Don't be surprised to see 5-6 receptions this weekend.

Flacco is a future STAR in the NFL and fantasy realms. The kid has some of the best natural ability as a passer and is pretty athletic for such a big, rangy kid. The fact that his passing weapons are mediocre, at best, actually bumps this kid up in my estimation with regards to his long-term prospects. The kid makes a few mistakes, for certain, but projecting an upgrade in what he has to work with and his overall skill-set, Flacco has Top 6-7 potential over the next few seasons, emerging ala Big Ben in Pittsburgh (i.e., the offense will eventually be built around him).

A couple of guys who I have no or minimal stake in currently who I believe to be offseason targets would be Donald Brown, Bernard Scott, McFadden, and LeSean McCoy. Others who I do have a pretty nice investment in (with regards to % owned in my dynasty leagues) who I would still recommend would be Beanie, Maroney, Charles, and Felix Jones......

3. Jonathan Stewart RB 5’10” 235 Panthers

Yes, you are reading this correctly, J-Stew is my #3 rated dynasty RB. I strongly believe in this kid’s talent, as he has a suddenness to his running ability that will become more evident as the ’09 season wears on. Being ahead of the curve is what this particular ranking is about, as I’ve seen enough of J-Stew to realize that this guy has “special” written all over him. The outlook for him to truly start realizing his production could be as late as 2011, but from my perspective it isn’t often you have a chance to land a (potential) marquee RB. Strong as a bull, with excellent vision and burst, combined with very nice agility and the speed to take it to the house, the resulting product is Jonathan “NO JOKE!” Stewart. He will bring defenders the business on every down…..eventually.

7. Beanie Wells RB 5’11” 235 Cardinals

Beanie still has a lot to prove, but is also in a very good situation in AZ, where he has a very good surrounding cast and a coach who will eventually get around to emphasizing the running game. Combining great size, dynamite power (excellent stiff-arm), good feet with surprising burst and speed, the only question for me is his durability. In many respects, Wells somewhat reminds me of an ’08 draftee with a similar skill-set and body-type who also had durability concerns entering the league (currently ranked #3 on this list). In the final analysis, I expect Wells to be the clear-cut top RB out of the ’09 class.

29. Laurence Maroney RB 5’11” 220 Patriots

I’m not ready to call it quite yet, but we just may witness a “Benson-like” resurrection from Maroney in 2010. At a career crossroads, will he seize the moment?

11. Percy Harvin WR 5’11” 199 Vikings

For the record, Harvin has been very high up in my ranks from the beginning, and many still will not buy into such a lofty ranking. But talent and playmaking ability are the reasons why he has to be here, IMO. Talk about dynamite in a bottle, meet Percy Harvin. Along with DeSean Jackson, Harvin is right there as the most electrifying player in the game and his WR skills too are not yet fully appreciated by the masses. As long as the Vikes can find a good QB going forward, the sky is the limit for Percy as the kid will simply make plays…..on a regular basis.

17. Jeremy Maclin WR 6’0” 200 Eagles

The arrival of another playmaker in Philly is telling in that the Eagles have never placed much of a premium on drafting WRs in the early rounds, aside from the kid from U.C.L.A…..yeah, Freddie Mitchell, and we know how that turned out. Maclin is in the mold of a DeSean Jackson in that he is a dynamic playmaker when he touches the ball. Maclin is already integrated into the offense, gaining valuable experience in his 1st year ala DeSean last season. We are witnessing the next dynamic duo in the mold of an Ike Bruce/Torry Holt tandem….guys who aren’t overly big, but are students of the game who also have great talent and know how to get open and make plays. Lots of upside here, it just may require some patience.

30. Chaz Schilens WR 6’4” 225 Raiders

Still way under the radar right now, as the foot injury has kept him out of sight, but not out of mind in my ranks. Schilens is a matchup nightmare for DBs, as he not only has great size but also has very good speed and hands to make the tough catches look effortless. Many will be surprised how good this kid is, but I’ve seen it coming for quite some time. Physically, he has the tools to be great.

34. Laurent Robinson WR 6’2” 208 Rams

Was coming on very strong before a season-ending leg injury….Watch out in ’10 as Robinson is a potential breakout candidate if the Rams adequately address their QB situation this offseason.

38. Robert Meachem WR 6’2” 215 Saints

Really starting to “get it” of late, 2010 will be the breakout year.
