Will they be getting rid of PPR? I won't play any game with PPR as it is WEAK! Might as well give a RB points for carries as well. What about attempts for a QB? Maybe even balls thrown to for a WR? What other artificial rule can we come up?But you go ahead and enjoy

Not a fan of WCOFF's payout system - only about 25% of the league money goes to the league winner and 2nd place only gets their money back.

couldn't go last year, but thinking about it this year.

has anyone been to this South Point Casino where they're holding the Vegas draft?

I have. We went to a Super Bowl party there this year. They did it up right! Pros-

Huge convention rooms.

The casino was close by.

The casino is fairly small but the dealers were friendly.

There are horse stables and a bowling alley in the lower part of the facility.

Cons-

Do not hope to get a cab there! The casino is at the farthest point South on the "Strip". By this they mean it is still on Las Vegas Blvd. but some 5 miles south of the MGM, or so it seems.

Lots of families from what I could tell.

No other casino close by.

I'm not sure if this is what you were looking for, so I hope it helps.

WCOFF - Las Vegas

NFFC - Las Vegas

Both are great events. In addition to the main events there are auction leagues (Friday) and High(er) stakes leagues (Sunday for NFFC and Thursday after the game for WCOFF)

i thought about NFFC, but i really like being in Vegas on opening weekend.

Not sure what the KDS acronym stands for, but in a nutshell you list your preferred draft positions in order. Through random selection, people are assigned their draft position based on their respective preferred lists that they submit.

KDS = Kentucky Derby Style... They draw and when your name is pulled, you get to choose your horse's post position, hence the comparison.

I'm leaning towards doing NFFC in Chicago this year. Not crazy about the casino choice for WCOFF being so far from the strip.

Very nice. Kentucy Derby + Banzai method would be damn fine. Not sure which spot I would even want. Well I'd guess Id still take LT2 at the 1 hole, but after that it would be too even to "know" for sure.

NFFC Chicago - I won a free entry last year into this year's contest.

WCOFF Vegas - I was leaning toward not going this year after 5 years there. With today's announcement that WCOFF has been sold, I am guessing service will improve because of the new oncoming owners. I was sorely disappointed with WCOFF's service last year, among other things. I am likely to now go again.
